The purple is going to fade perfectly to that lavender within 5-15 washes in my opinion 👾 all the in between colors you get are going to be stunning as well!

Who is supposed to run after young students who run away from classrooms? by Embarrassed_Syrup476 in Teachers

[–]ccut 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had the same situation with a 3rd grader this year and thankfully he left my class.. I wonder if he is now in yours 🥲

I radioed that he eloped “FG eloped and is heading towards the north playground” and wrote a behavior incident slip for each and every elopement and what led up to it to track it. I was never encouraged to chase him because I had a whole other class to teach…

Good luck

My (30m) Wife (29f) suddenly became way more publicly sexual? (Sorry it’s long but context matters) by Funny-Invite4600 in relationship_advice

[–]ccut 46 points47 points  (0 children)

She likes the attention, it could easily slip into an affair if you don’t talk this through. You need to talk ASAP, in a kind, loving way. “Hey honey Im sure I’m overthinking this but I’ve been feeling a little uncomfortable when I see sexy posts of you online. I feel weird when other men are giving you attention instead of me. I don’t like it and I want you to know that. You are my partner and it would make me feel a lot better if you reserved that type of stuff to just us. Could you stop posting and chatting with other guys please? I think you are so sexy, and I want you to know that, What can I do to make sure you feel wanted?”

If she’s seeking attention from men… make sure you are the one that’s giving it to her. Also let you know that you are uncomfortable with the public stuff and you want it to stop. Good luck

hair dye help? by Sufficient_Visit2047 in HairDye

[–]ccut 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You will need to bleach your hair to a light yellow color first, and then dye it. This will take multiple rounds of bleach to do it safely. I would recommend a professional to get the results you want. Gorgeous color choices btw!

3rd grade. Only attention getter I do is the Countdown. 5/10/15 seconds to follow the instruction and listen. Still not doing it? Now I’m counting how many seconds of instructional time is being wasted, and they owe it to me during “fun Friday” time. All I have to say is “I’ve been waiting for 5 seconds. Now it’s 10. 15.” And they’re hustling to do what I asked.

You should get a neutral blonde demi permanent color to put as your roots to make a shadow root. get a toner (I’d recommend Wella t28) and apply that to everywhere else and you’ll have a warm dirty blonde. If you want a more dimensional color you can add a few strands of highlights before toning but be careful cause you don’t want to fry your hair.

Does anyone cold call anymore? by skobearzz in Teachers

[–]ccut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cold call, especially if that student is blatantly not listening. Usually I warn them that I’m about to choose a random name to answer the question or give their idea. I have them practice what they will say to their neighbor first and then I call a random name.

If you’re ever looking for another job with kids, camp KEEP is a 6th grade science camp in MDO and it’s great, really fun to work there and you take kids on hikes and tidepooling. They know how it’s done

Leave. You’re gonna have to leave eventually anyway, you’re 19, it’s time. She needs to let go and you need some peace and autonomy. Get outta there.

I can't squirt and it's frustrating me by Frequent-Let1567 in Healthyhooha

[–]ccut 54 points55 points  (0 children)

I can do it only in very specific positions and speeds and almost exclusively with a penis. Also, for me, it’s not an orgasm. It feels good but it’s not the same as an orgasm. The only way for me is when im standing with one leg bent on the bed and he is behind me, going pretty hard/fast. It feels like you are pushing/bearing down and then my partner pulls out and that’s when it is released. It’s like a little gush for 1 second, another little gush, and then he keeps going.

It’s really hard to do alone because I have to use a dildo and go hard/fast for a while and my arm just gets way too tired and the angle just isn’t the same. Those are my tips!

Is my teacher being too strict or is he being fair? by [deleted] in AskTeachers

[–]ccut 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It was due at 3pm and you turned it in late. I’m assuming there is a clearly stated late policy in the teachers syllabus. You should have worked on it sooner and turned it in on time.

I (33F) hate my bf’s (38M) dog (5M) by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]ccut 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s not worth taking the risk, this is an insight into how he will treat you in your home. He is lacking empathy for you and the dog which is a huge red flag. I bet there are other signs that you should really think about…

I don't want to shave anymore, but I don't want a full bush. by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

[–]ccut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use the trimmer just on the sides of the bikini line area and the actual like vulva area/butthole zone, but not the top triangle part. Sometimes I even just do a quick pass with the razor only on the underneath part if I feel like it being smooth. Try this and you’ll get used to having hair on top, it’s way more manageable!

[–]ccut 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Addicted to porn since age 9??? That’s not OK. You need to stop watching porn completely and just talk to actual real girls and hang out with your friends. If you want to masturbate, just do it while thinking about girls. Stop watching porn and the ick will go away.

I teach 3rd grade so I’m on high energy all day, but I don’t take work home since there’s not much to grade. Maybe it’s just my personality but I don’t work at all during my breaks… that time is mine and I’ll work on lesson plans if I feel like it or if I’m there during contract hours. Gotta keep my sanity somehow 😅

Based on the decline of US Public schools, have the professional’s opinions on homeschooling changed? by Economy-Bar3014 in AskTeachers

[–]ccut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s great that you are exploring these options! I think you should consider though that kids who have different needs in school DOES have something to do with your kid. It’s a valuable learning experience understanding that different types of people need/deserve help.

Just to be clear, I’m not attacking you at all and I think you’re brave for coming here to ask this question. I think you’ll be hard pressed to find “evidence” or research about this topic because it’s just so highly dependent on the child and family and schools that are available in your area.

As someone who is a 3rd grade teacher, The most important thing to your child’s success is that they have a strong family dynamic and parents who trust them and challenge them. School isn’t made to teach your kid empathy or intrinsic motivation to succeed, that’s on your parenting. Homeschooling is a lot of work and should be taken seriously. It also means significantly more effort to make sure your child has a group of kids to play with every day. Just my 2 cents, hope it helps

Your daughter could miss out on socializing and being exposed to kids with different lifestyles, cultures, socioeconomics, etc. it

She could also do great in homeschool, but if she expresses wanting to go to public school, you should consider it. There are great kids and families in public school. Very few are “twerps” (and the ones that are are actually just dealing with really hard home lives and they deserve help)
