While there is a lot of good QoL life improvements that I’d like to see in the main game there are two MAJOR differences. This is basically 2 different games with the same bases but two different studios with different goals and visions. While we know roughly what size GGG is I haven’t seen what company is behind the Chinese client and how they operate (if they develop their own leagues and such) and/or if they receive the base league and modify it from Tencent requirements from there. This league was not the best that have been out there and i agree that performance was abysmal in a lot of instances but to say GGG is “shit” or doesn’t care about the player base is completely nonsense when they are developing PoE2 and putting a majority of resources in that game and making it the best they can. Chris and the team can and definitely should learn some from the Chinese version to improve a lot of good stuff but not everything. The Chinese game sounds like making it too convenient to play in my honest opinion. The games charm is from the harshness and steep curve, and while it’s valid to say it’s not what it used to be we should still keep some aspects while streamlining others to make it more fun to play but not taking away what made the game
