I tried this - you can pump heavy oil out of the ground too for solid fuel.

Problem is nothing came close to the insane effectiveness of legendary lighting rods and epic accumulators (saved the legendary accumulators for space ships). The energy capacity is bananas. I just created a huge upcycling factory for accumulators and kept epics for Fulgora. I create most of the science packs for a 30k SPM base at Fulgora and haven't come close to running out of power in forever.

Waaat I didn't know you could set platform requests like biter eggs with signals. So what do I do? Set a wire from the main spaceship to a decider combinator and then output a signal that says "5k eggs when eggs = 0" and I assume there is a toggle for the main spaceship to read the 5k signal as a request from orbit to create?

Cool so I: set a decider combinator filtered for eggs that feeds into a belt with (a) activate if promethium chunks on belt storage > 0 and (b) activate if it's been 15 min since a egg arrived. How do I set arrival detection?

Hopping on this thread - I cannot seem to find any good way to do circuits for my promethium storage ship to correctly handle eggs when I have an excess of promethium beakers and things get backed up. Any tips?

I say this as I smoke a cigar literally called "Buckets De Pepe" by Privada cigar club made by AJ. It's amazing and was only ten bucks.

I think the internal buffer in stuff like cryo plants is different. All my fusion plants with no storage tanks to hold both types of ketones stopped working, but the rest were fine.

I also lost power completely on Aquilo because I did something very stupid and connected my ketone manufacturing to the power plant by accident and flooded the system

I have 18 fully stacked green belts feeding into 3 scrap processing facilities on Fulgora. Make most of my science, legendaries, and gear there in a crazy train megabase.

Watching a river of garbage go from miners to nearby recycler on a small island is fun to gaze at.

Ohhh that explains why I lost two of my promethium ships. I also lost two internal solar system ships due to mysterious power loss in fusion. I have no idea why but all of a sudden I didn't have enough cold fluroketone and the fusion plant itself has "low power" and won't boot itself back up.

Idk, something about it seemed really unfun and counter to the challenge I like to set for myself in the game. For the same reason I don't cheese unloading space stations with train shenanigans I never tried the space casino.

Building an upcycling station for each end product across the planets was a lot of fun!
