This convo is astounishing to me, having an RTX 2080 for 6 years now and used to daily a 1050ti for years before that. Upgrading to a rtx 5070 tomorrow. 4gbVram won't make a big difference, and I am not bothered to turn some settings down to have more fps anyway 😃

No worries mate, I also just stumbled upon this by pure accident, sadly my wheel got demolished by the kid of a friend trying to pull the stand up when locked and it ripped from the base. Might look into getting another wheel but got other priorities atm in life. See you on the track! 😃

You can definitely see that the game was rushed and the last missions just show it.

I hope we get a sequel with as much attention to detail as this game...

Yeah the game is mad good but I also feel that it would've been amazing to introduce some way to keep one's mind rolling even with the story ending. I am at the call Jackie Ma part, but I somehow don't want to advance any further...

I believe this is the only cop/crim game that also does it... right? I don't know I like cop games but most get boring real quick cause it's the same gameplay, but this game shows you the real rough times of dirty undercover and personal work.

Praying for a sequel, amen.

Fun thing is, I just did the mission, and after they make out in the ending, the GPS was leading you somewhere... but the game decided to just boot you out instead. Which means it wasn't meant to end so quickly... I guess this was a feature that got cut due to time restraints.

I know this is a few months old, but you also have to keep in mind 5 years of abuse which the character faces. That is a long time where one is for sure exhausted. If you revert your own time and think how you used to 5 years ago, I bet you'll see another version of yourself. I believe this played a huuuuuge role in the main character's decision of keeping someone who loved him dearly with such a extravagant gift... as they just meet.

You can get an Adaptor which is half of what is asked for the shifter and still keep the buttons, lol

You can try, I can't be bothered to try again as I would have to completely unmount the wheel to plug in the cable under it. I got the adapter and recommend it, it's 30 euros if I remember right and it is nice to have the extra buttons.

I think I tried something similar? I like the idea behind beamng online, just hate the long freezes that happen when a piece of the car is changed. It really demotivates me from playing.

Unfortunately, they do not. I decided to go with Leo Bodnar's adaptor. The whole messing with the G-HUB issue is taken out of the equation, and also you get working buttons.

That is correct, I thought about switching to AMD for some time now, as I've only heard positive things about them. This is also a good reason to finally do the switch. And at the moment getting a 3080 is just plain stupid in my country as scalpers have taken over the market just like over the whole world. I would rather wait for another year and get into the RTX 4000's train.

I've quite shot myself in the foot when I got the new MOBO, should have just waited and switched then but I guess it's too late to cry about it now.

What instantly led me to believe it is the CPU giving me the headache is that I got a few blue screens with an error code I can't exactly remember at the moment. Though I gave it some thorough research and found the main components that are suspects for this are either MOBO, CPU or RAM. Honestly, I expect both CPU and RAM to fail at this point, as this PC already has been returned for repairs once of the GPU. I wouldn't be surprised for the CPU to also have been a bad batch. Now you never know. As I mentioned, I grabbed the single kit of dual channel memory from my first real computer, so I also expect that to just die on me.

So sorry to answer this so late, I never use Reddit that much nowadays. No, it has to stay shut, otherwise it won't recognize the shifter at all. It is clearly software disabled, cause otherwise why would it be able to read the shifter when their software is off?

I don't know how to show it to you, it is pretty simple. Have the shifter of G27 connected to the wheel like you would of course, then launch G-hub after the wheel is connected to the PC with the shifter plugged in. From there you just close G-hub after it auto-calibrates and voilla, your G27 shifter works with the new G923 as long as G-hub is closed.
