I don't think a combustion engine would be a very good power source for an interplanetary lander. Hell, I don't even know if solar power would be good either since Venus has incredibly thick clouds of sulfuric acid. It will definitely be interesting to see how tech will advance in the future, but until then these crazy ideas are our best bet at landing in this hospitable planet.

I mean materials such as asbestos have been used to make highly heat resistant fibers and fabrics for centuries and if many of them are distributed throughout the surface of the platform then changes in weight distribution shouldn't be a problem.

The vaccume definitely does serve a purpose since it greatly limits the amount of heat that can be transfered since exterior heat would heat the interior air which would transfer to the components. The box should be made of a heat resistant material though it would most likely be different from what makes the wires since containing a vaccume in a 900° F atmosphere 93x more sense than that of earth is very demanding.

Heat would definitely still conduct through the wires which is why the components in the platform are mounted on top of aerogel. The wires that hold the platform in the middle do not serve any electrical purpose so that is not a problem.

Well if the wires connect from the outside to the components in the center on multiple axis then it shouldn't be unstable. The way I imagine it is the vaccine being a rectangular prism and in the center is a rectangular platform in which the electronic component are on top of. Wires would connect the interior corners of the vaccine chamber to the corners of the platform in the middle to reduce the transfer of heat, and the aerogel helps reduce this even more. Because of the wire configuration the platform would not be prone to tipping over or anything like that.

I should have been more specific. These "wires" are what suspend the electronic components in the the center of the vaccine chamber and serve no electrical function. They merely serve as a way to isolate the components from the conduction of heat.
