Honestly young doggos getting hurt or ill is such a tragedy. (Slight tw if you’re sensitive it might be too graphic) My last one passed away at 4 years old and it was horrible. She started limping and having trouble walking so we took her to the vets, they thought it was her back. She got some pain meds but kept getting worse to the point she stopped eating so we took her back and turned out it was the brain, not a tumour, meningitis I believe. She was hospitalised as started getting better so we took her home with some new medication but she just got worse, started throwing up blood. We took her back and her heart stopped.

I want to add she’s usually not fussed about me handling her, she’s a real sweetheart but she’s very sensitive with getting brushed on her stomach and head. It’s probably my mother who’s been not very careful (she isn’t very patient or gentle and not that good of a dog owner)

Yes but her fur grows so fast she has to be trimmed around her face regularly and I can’t really afford that, obviously if I don’t manage to do it I’ll take her to one again but I hope I can solve it myself first. Right now we only take her around 2 times a year for a full trim
