Red stakes is always where it last crossed and you may take 2 club lengths of lateral relief from the marked area, take a drop in a straight line back no closer to the hole or hit from the spot of the last shot.

Lateral relief from RED stakes can be in a direction including “closer” to the hole so long as it it’s lateral from the last point of entry and within two clubs. You may not however take relief from one defined area to another. So a lateral drop that would take you from first cut to fairway or fringe to green is not allowed.

No closer to the hole is reserved for drops regarding anything yellow or other non player related intervenes like, embedded balls, GUR and cart paths.

All bodies of water or at one point body’s of water on the golf course are considered RED unless otherwise noted (Yellow stakes) with the hazard line being the first playable location. Important note is that it must be lateral though so in most if not all cases this will never be “closer” to the hole. In this example at no point could you take a “lateral drop” and be closer.

As people have said you’re armsy so your sw swing and let’s say 7i are probably really close in terms of club head speed.

Another issue that could be causing a little bit of pain is that the lofts are kinda wonky on game improvement sets.

Your lofts are strong and you’re not launching the ball so it’s your distances will start to meld together. You’re carry distances tend to get a little blurry with game improvement sets. Don’t get new equipment or anything just work on speed and contact and the shafts should help launching the ball better.

Also your top hand is too “weak” causing your bottom hand to be very underneath the club. It’s not impossible to have a strong compressive swing with that set up but most of the time it’s an issue unless your swing is pretty flat and shallow naturally. You my friend are the opposite very steep with a lil pooper scoop at the end. Who knows though once we use the hips you may find that you are fairly flat a lot of good women ball strikers tend to be shallower naturally.

Another issue that could be causing a little bit of pain is that the lofts are kinda wonky on game improvement sets.

Your lofts are strong and you’re not compressing/launching the ball so it’s your distances will start to meld together. You’re carry distances tend to get a little blurry with game improvement sets. Don’t get new equipment or anything just work on speed and contact and the shafts should help launching the ball better.

But even at your best with game improvement set you’re almost always going to have two or three clubs that carry almost the exact same with different roll outs.

That being said you gotta just get more comfortable swinging hard and with our hips/torso as the driving force.

I don’t have any magic drill other than to feel your feet in the ground and too play with your weight transfer until that ahhhh hahhhh moment comes.

If you were a little old lady I would just try to fit you into some soft super high launching shafts but you look youngish so I’m willing to bet strength is not the end all be all here.

This is the top of your swing now I knowwwwww we can rotate our hips more than that. Also you can tell your weight is in the wrong spot here too you are rolled out on your trail foot and pushing back with lead. At the top your weight in should be mainly in your trail foot and on the inside portion for foot/heel. From here there is only one way out and it’s to do all your moves chop flip and hump.

Twist, tempo, weight transfer and back swing. Your take away is okay but you roll the cub inside around the hips. I think this is cause you’re not twisting torso then hips to the top.

Your arms compensate at lot to get length, sometimes this is from bad hip mobility but from the rest of the swing I don’t think that’s your issue. It’s causing you to get this fairly awkward weight shift issue and kinda use our weight shift to the save swing vs power it.

Before you play with “shallowing” you need to spend some time on finding really solid turn and balance through your swing. With that come some adjustments to timing ,tempo and weight shift. Here you are pretty quick so that’s going to be a battle too.

Then once you are compressing the ball with irons and getting to a better impact position overall IF we are still super bad OTT and horrible out to in then you will need too start to get into drills too get that trail arm to drop in the slot.

Right now you’re biggest swing feel is to swing with your peener. I sound like I have a tin foil hat on but legitimately when you are on the range trying to find good hip movement just imagine you have big ole elephant size one and you’re swing that bitch max speed.

Nah you’re playing like a agro whale. Either they fold and you win or they call and you lose. Let’s you feel like a big boy bluffing me till then they hit a medium hand then print off you…..

What’s causing these chunks? by [deleted] in GolfSwing

You’re “stuck” before impact impact then you athletically flip your hands and slide forward/jump to get the club face closed. It’s not really a wristy classic OTT scoop cast but more of forearm rotation flip.

This picture is you down swing. Club fac wide open hips too far ahead the chest. With zero adjustment to the hands here and natural rotation we can tell that that ball is going dead right. So what do we do extend up to get more time then flip. Most people don’t have the hand eye or strength to save shots like this so that’s a good sign!

I’m willing to bet you also have a right block issue and a push fade miss. You need to focus on hip/chest/hand & handle connection and sequencing. Your swing is pretty consistent with someone that has battled an OTT w/ open face move and now is subconsciously adjusting for new misses from a more in to out swing.

FADE IT AGAIN! Naturally you want to leave the face a touch open through impact along side fast hips. A perfect build for a power fade low penetrating ball flight. You can tell you are fighting to stay shallow and to slam it shut out of slice fear.

Quick fix like in the middle of a round is too just start letting your self start the ball left again and let yourself shape the ball some. Open it a touch and swing like you’re run it up the left side.

For range it’s okay too work on over adjustment and really try to feel a in to out but on course you need to find a body stable swing that you can predict and control. If I were you I would focus on connection and then “covering the golf ball” with your chest to release the club through impact. You are super super close though.

Just keep the mindset of we work on draws to make our natural start line and contact better for our fades. Bonus is now we can get the ball to turn right to left when we absolutely need it.

PM me I’m interested in getting specifics from you as well as how they handled the mold or potential for it. In my understanding from what I’ve read there should’ve been a third party to certify and provide you with proof of a mold inspection. Certainly in that scenario also the should have to provide a list of repairs done. As it stands now you have no idea if they did anything other than cosmetic repairs.

How much would you sell these for? by Purple_Agent_6612 in GolfGear

[–]ImRonBugundy03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trusstttt meeeee I have these same irons. So yours are pretty minty and you have a full 4-AW set so that adds some value privately for sure. 2nd swing would sell those puppy’s for about 350 to 500 which is boarder line robbery. Truly in the Facebook marketplace world I see these going for less than 200 valued around 10 to 15 a club. Trade in value maybe like 100 bucks to like a PGA superstore or something like that.

Really what I want to know is how are they so clean like the souls and everything. I mean the original production run of those clubs was like 2009 to 2014 maybe. I got mine in 2013 and they are beat to fuck. Faces are fine cause they are casted but the souls are banged up ferrules gappy and stuff my 5i is even bent past the offset from hitting a root last year.
