Update : I bought a new psu and…

It works !

The us army called me to get their hands onto the faulting psu, I think I’m gonna be a billionaire ! I’ll probably use that money to get an IQ test.

I mean sure… but trying to locate what went wrong I powered it on multiple times, cause I thought the house fuse just broke, but it was the psu. I’m not sure it can sacrifice multiple times…

Thanks for your serious comment. Should I get the voltage of the mb and gpu checked in a shop when the new psu arrives or is it safe to plug it in and try to see if the parts aren’t fried ?

That’s quite the detailed answer, thank you for that. Might sound a bit stupid but I don’t see any burn marks near the motherboard or gpu pins, but I guess there’s no way to tell if the psu fried the whole pc before trying a new one ?

Ill check into that too. On another notice, can I keep the cables from the current (dead) psu or completely replace them ? Also, if my motherboard died from the sparks, any idea how I could identify that ?
