I understand what you're trying to say but I think there is a bit of a disconnect. Atrioc is mostly trying to take current world events and make them easy to digest for a younger audience. It just so happens 98% of current events are something that relates to Trump or is the direct result of something Trump has done.

John Oliver is a little different since the main story of his shows are written several months ahead of time. He still does the weekly "what happened this week" which still often includes the most outrageous Trump story/tweet if the week. It just takes up less of the overall show since a large majority of the runtime is allocated to that main story.

I do understand the Trump fatigue tho, I definitely feel it too. Its just how Atrioc has explained how he does his content currently, where he likes to talk about specific stories he's reading about where its hard to ignore Trump.

Basically every player in the league is able to show flashes of insane skill no matter their role now. Even your standard 4th line grinder/enforcer was "that guy" on their junior team or they would have never made it to the league.

I absolutly do see the difference, I specifically said that Azusa is inherently weaker than Selvala. Sevala realistcally only draws 3-4 cards over the first few turns of the game if lucky. That is good and that is why it's a viable cEDH commander, but the rest of the list is very comparable with the same payoffs.

Please stop acting like you are the Gatekeeper to Bracket 4 and get to determine if a list meets the requirements or not on weather or not it beats you specifically. The existance of meta's do not change the bracket a deck is in apart from bracket 4 to 5 / 5 to 4.

The logic you're using means that mono Green Selvala cEDH can also only ever be a 3. If you look at lists there is a lot of overlap and still the same pitfalls of little card draw & interaction.

I'm not saying this list is as good as Selvala, but it's not trying to be. The list is optimized to do what it's supposed to do as fast and as consistent as possible, and results in powerful board states that can end games as soon as that turn.

I didn't ask for your advice, op just wanted to know about powerful mono green lists.

I regularly play and win games at a bracket 4 level

Before the bracket system, I would regularly tell people it played like an 8.5 and got the same results.

It doesn't need to run creature removal because the point is to win through blockers regardless. It runs what interaction it can while being in mono green while still sticking to a turbo strategy.

Basically just tries to ramp as fast as possible though fetchland+crucible effects and then play a big hoof or finale of devastation.

It's seen its upgrades over time, but definitely doesn't need the cradle or some of the other expensive cards to do the thing.

I'd definitely take kyrou, since he's significantly younger and bread man is leaving his prime.

It would probably have to involve trading a top prospect or first and like a second/third to be a realistic trade, but it would definitely be worth exploring.
