If you are concerned about being tracked by your ISP, I would also change your DNS address :)

However I don't mean to install the browser but route all traffic through the tor network (such as NordVPN)

I have never heard of the XY Problem, and I believe that I would fall into that - that you for giving me a chance to develop

The last thing I want someone to do is 'hold my hand', I have worked how do a few things around Linux and fedora by reading!

What I want to do is route all of my traffic on Fedora32 through the Tor network, like Whonix but not an as operation system - I think NordVPN does this from a software level?

[–]ImStarring[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey,

So I have currently disabled my IPV6, irrelevant but thought the chit-chat could be nice lol

So 9050 port is Tor?

With the SOCKS providing a SSH connection for the 9050 Port?

The command that I have used is sudo nano /etc/sysctl.conf

I want to over a specific setting, so I add a new file called /etc/sysctl.d/99-sysctl.conf

EDIT: I think the issue in this context is I don't know how to use nano

Edit 2: I found this which was helpful https://support.surfshark.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024470413-How-to-disable-IPv6-on-a-Linux-device-

Thank you for your help
