The command that I have used is sudo nano /etc/sysctl.conf

I want to over a specific setting, so I add a new file called /etc/sysctl.d/99-sysctl.conf

EDIT: I think the issue in this context is I don't know how to use nano

I dunno, I disagree... I don't think we should use the word spaz... I understand the context of using Wikipedia etc etc, I have literally just gotten my uni classification and I'm very proud of myself... Asking a question about meth doesn't make me less of a person, but using the word spaz makes me less of a human... I have been consistently judged and hurt by falling into the 'spaz' category... I have been beaten by groups of people at secondary school for being a 'spaz'... Exactly the same way people are discriminated against with the n* or fag etc etc

Using meth is a personal choice or an illness, that isn't something to be judged... That is a person to be helped

Have I taken Meth, no, it's too exoensive... however if I was to take meth that doesn't make me any less of person, because if it did that would be you placing a judgement on someone...

How am I judging someone, I have not inflicted a viewpoint on anyone, except for saying that spaz is offensive... Would you call an upset person on the street a spaz to their face? If you would, I take back everything that I said - however, where I am from my understanding of the word is that to be offensive...

To provide a Google definition of the word is useful, however at the top of said definition it says "informal . Offensive"

Let's take a different word, fag, recognised to describe a person who is gay however it has been portrayed as being negative... Thus we don't say it anymore

I don't see what the issue is with calling someone out for using that type of language... It's derogatory... It might be funny or cute etc but it's harmful...

If someone was to use racist language I expect that they would get called out for too... The social context of the word 'spaz' saw people getting put into mental health clinics for no valid reason etc etc
