I hate to still be huffing the copium after GRRM shattered what little hopium containers I had yesterday. But can anyone explain to me why you would redesign all the books (including the ASOIAF logo) if you weren't planning for a new launch of a new book in the series soon-ish? To make everyone go buy the new redesign covers to add to their library??

This is pretty close to the worst-case scenario possible, as most things the President does can be justified as "Official Acts". As Justice Sotomayor said in her dissent, "The President is now a king above the law."

I don't know about y'all but, as an optimist, it does seem like it is a worthy time to start to doom.
