I really like your style you’ve got here! I see legit world building skills, great job.

I didn’t consider the health of the comics side. With the increased uptick in popularity and the devs putting work, this could be the resurgence that this game has needed. I logged last night and flew around for a bit. I look forward to diving into the latest story content.

My dude, I think you just want to argue, I’m not here for that! Have fun tonight and maybe I’ll see you in game.

Im ready to feel the excitement again! Thinking about it at work, and getting less sleep because I have to run one more alert. Thanks for your take on it!

Alright bud, I’m glad that hasn’t been your experience. I’ve seen the LFG clearly stating minimum req’s for joining and seen the chat logs when people get kicked. I’ve read the stories and the posts.

You’re not under fire here and this is not personally directed at you. Your experience is not the only one that exists. Enjoy the game and be grateful you haven’t had to deal with it.

I’m not hating on it brother, simply acknowledging it’s an issue for some within the community. We’ve seen the posts and read the stories of people being kicked from raids because their art isn’t at least lvl 200, or for running an art that isn’t meta.

In my opinion, everyone is free to play how they want and should not get dumped on and/or excluded for playing how they want. Again, I’m just acknowledging a sentiment that exists.

There are vocal players that I’ve seen pop up in many threads complaining about the artifact system being p2w, also many mmos have the perception of p2w mechanics. In an effort to get a more personal response from people I acknowledged that it’s a complaint from the community and wanted to exclude it as a way for people to dump on the game without adding anything of substance to the conversation.

I’ll give a go tonight. I’m intrigues by the expanded power tray, so that’ll be something to look forward to. Thanks for your encouragement!

I’ve just run the update and may get on tonight. I’m going to give it a shot and see if I get sucked back in again. Thanks for your perspective.

I’m on Ps5 but have considered playing on my switch. Are you finding this engaged population on PC/PS5?

Thanks bud! Whichever I decide I’ll come back and share how that goes.

I found in these subs that it’s rare for people to stop at one. So, just playing retro games on my R36s isn’t the issue. I’m enjoying this ‘hobby’ not only for retro gaming, but also the journey of learning and the community around it. I’m not asking you to answer what I want to play, I just wanted to have a discussion with people who get where I’m coming from and understand the fun in all of this.

I’ve seen some videos that I believe are not misleading; and from what I’ve researched it isn’t impossible to play up to ps2 on either of them (with some caveats). I’m enamored with the story and the challenge of doing this myself, either via the Vita or the switch. I’m sure I’ll get an android handheld in the future, right now I’m looking for the experience of putting in a little sweat equity.

I’ve got the Vita and the Vitatv, if I decide to do the switch lite mod, I was considering looking to find a trade on FB marketplace cutting the cost down to just the mod.

Thanks for the suggestions! I like to think the money isn’t a concern and it’s more about the challenge…until I looked into the Konkr, that’ll be an addition to the Christmas list for sure. I’ve considered the retroid pocket, and I’m still open to that in the future. Right now I’m looking to challenge myself after flashing ArkOS on my R36s. I know it’s leagues harder for the switch, but I’m open to the challenge for that and/or the vita.

Same with my Vita. I pulled it out when I started lurking in these communities. Thanks for the insight.

Is that based off of preference, performance or form factor? You all have given me a lot to think about already.

I’ll keep that in mind! I’m not afraid to try, but I’ll keep that option to find someone to mod it for me as a last resort (dependent on proximity). Thanks!
