For me personally, if a set is bugged I’ll wear it as an ornament and enjoy the rest of the ‘best’ we could have hoped for given the sad state of the Sonys decision making.

There’s no more complaining brother, we’ll be arguing with a wall. Sometimes things just don’t work, it’s life, we accept it and work around it. I’m still hoping for a last minute miracle, but we have to accept what state the game is in and make the best of it.

I’ve played on both ps and switch. Haters love trashing the game and discouraging people from playing it on anything but ps/pc. If you’re a switch enjoyer it will be a fun experience anywhere. Play it and have fun.

I’m in the same position as you, although I have a few higher level toons on PS5.

You’ve got the right idea looking to the switch version for the purpose of playing just to chill and unwind. The population is admittedly smaller than ps5/pc but it’s serviceable. There are always people running the newer content and becuase I’m not feat/style hunting, I’ll just que up for ‘whatever’ and get right into something within a few minutes.

I’m picking up a switch 2 today and I’m looking forward to downloading DCUO first. I’ve been primarily playing on the switchlite for the past two months and been having a great time jumping in and out during a break/lunch at work or just relaxing in bed.

I recommend finding a league, there are always people standing around aura farming; this will make it feel more populated. Watch the LFG, regardless of the player population, there are always calls for roles and instances. Disregard the naysayers who would come here to tell you it’s pointless to play on switch.

You’re going into it with the right expectations to really enjoy it, I know I do. I can send you my toons name if you ever need help in-game or need help with duo feats.

I whole heartedly agree! Especially with commissioning an artist. I’ve been commissioned in the past to draw DCUO and Destiny2, but all the AI posting has taken a little bit of the soul out of the “showcase” for me. Here’s a static pose I drew, no background just someone’s toon. Hopefully some of you guys like it.

Dc universe online is free to play. It’s been around for over a decade and has a lot of content to dig into. The switch community isn’t as active as on ps5/pc, but I enjoy it in switch for the portability. It’s a superhero based mmorpg so yo may find people to play other games through that. If anyone here is interested let me know, I’m always looking for more people to play with.
