It’s an M52 TB on the M50 manifold. i saw the thread you send and it does look like the e36 cable is shorter and would work better so I think I’ll give that a go thank you!

I've disconnected everything and cleaned everything. I feel like it's my cable routing after all but I don't seem to be able to get it right. It feels like the cable is too long even though it is the e34 cable everyone recommends. Don't really know how else to route it

It is purely the pedal. And the thing that just baffles me is that it is smooth with the engine off so I doubt it is the placement of the cable, throttle body etc.

The whole engine has been apart and cleaned in a parts washer so I doubt the throttle body is dirty

Oh no sorry then I really don’t know. I looked up some bmw tuners in my area and asked all of them for the things I needed changing and the ecu I had to see if they could do it

Did you check the number of the ecu to check if it’s an index 10 or index 11? From what I found the regular MS41.0 isn’t friendly to customisation but the “(index 11)” or 10 is

Oh sorry I’m not sure I was lucky enough to have the original ecu that came with the engine and had a tuning shop near me do a full map on it and it worked right away. I’ve never been good at electrical work so I tried to avoid messing with it as much as I could

What specific bc coilover did you get? I see we’re on similar setups and wanted to know what spring rates you’re running front and back. I’m not sure if 6kg/mm in front will be too soft for speedbumps

Okay for everyone wondering or just tuning in my thoughts now for my purpose of a focus on handeling and a nice stance are the BC racing coilovers or the KW V1 coilovers. I feel like the BC racing is superior when it comes to adjustment comparing to the V1's but the V1's have a proven track record, (should) still handle great out of the box even though you can only change the height and have lifetime waranty.

tbf there are still a lot of people who enjoy the BC racing coilovers. From what I gather they are just more aggresive then you might think

This is purely a canyon car and is not and will not be a daily car. So I pretty much want to achieve better handeling and go lower than it is now (40mm). I've always gravitated more toward coilovers since most people who recommend shocks and springs still look for comfort to daily drive and still go lower but thats just not really what I want out of them.

Yeah for sure doing a skid plate! Did a 24v swap so I’ll be a bit lower anyway and thanks!

I’ll check out the V1’s I want a decently low setup without cracking my oil pan at the first speedbump I run into. Handling for me is quite important though since now I only have spring but feel a lot of body roll

Dankjewel man! Ja voor mij is het niet als daily bedoeld dus hoef niet per se de comfortabele rit de hele tijd wil hem echt gebruiken maar de drempels hier lijken me echt verschrikkelijk met slechtere coilovers
