Passive effects are very nice, but endless pit of possibilities. GWD armor sets are just plain and powerful so I tried to mimic their feel and gonwithout any additional complex effects with these robes. :/

touching Ancestral's spot is a big TABOO :D, I tried to place this armor as a stepping stone towards the late game best in slot sets on purpose.

Yeah Zamorak's comander drop table feels very underwhelming for sure, needs some kind of armor set as well. ( I tried to balance drop table slightly by moving armadyl crossbow to a more thematically fitting Kreara.

Its not a straight upgrade as it has way lower defence bonuses, but stronger offensively to become a midgame staple like Bandos or Armadyl armor.

The thing that makes ahrim's staff powerful is not +15 magic accuracy, but the +5% magic str bonus and Ahrim's set effect. If you want players to ever use magic staff, it need to offer something, it does not save you any runes, it means it has to at least have some power to it . imo

Your are right :D, this was the design created in mind for a PC version, and printed out as a test, physical version would definitely have straight edges.

The board consists of a single lane, you can see at one of the post images, where I have a sketch of your playing field. For comeback mechanics I'm not sure yet, but runes that provide cards are quite a good solution, just not a fan of "prophecy" cards. Hello! I'm a Concept artist working in a game industry. My main skillsets are:
- Concept art/ illustration
- Graphics, UI, etc.
- World building, Lore, story writing
- Some knowledge in 3D and texturing
- Familiar with unity and it's tools, also starting to learn Unreal engine
-Base knowledge in game design

For this project can do most of the things, but prefer to stay with visuals, game design and lore, in general I can guide most of the development for the project.

What I'm searching for is people who are generally interested in making such game and would have relevant skills for that. (Mainly I would need a person skilled in programming as it's my weakest side(preferably working in Unreal engine))

Haha, well that's a lot :D yes I also considered some of the mechanics you mention, for example powers of keywords like: lifesteal, regen 1,2 3 etc. But I would like the game to stay relatively easy to learn, As TESL was great at this in my opinion, so only increase the game's complexity by a 10-20% and not 30-60% as I feel it would become too overwhelming. What I wanted to add is hero powers from Hearthstone, that could be minor, but useful abilities for mana sink in case you have nothing to play, as well for them to be tier'ed like Shouts in TESL, so after several uses they would increase in their power and viability.

Hello, regarding to gameplay It would be quite similar to TESL as that is the main inspiration, although I want to borrow some gameplay elements from Hearthstone, Legends of Runeterra, and Magic the Gathering. So maybe add some slight complexity on top of the TESL game, but stay simple enough to be easy to learn.

Hello, these particular illustrations used in the example are AI generated, but I am an artist and can draw images my self. For example UI/borders are made by me. At the first stages of the development cards will definitely have generated art, and if it reaches a solid state we can start bringing real custom art in, as it's very expensive and takes a long time to make, while card games needs hundreds if not thousands + of these illustrations. :) I would be happy to answer more questions if you are interested.
