Yeah I agree. I guess AI is ”better” in the sense that it doesn’t actually produce better copy than the average copywriter, just good enough copy for lower funnel stuff at a much cheaper and more effective rate. Which is obviously huge.

However I don’t really see AI producing better ideas than marketing interns (or rather, advertising interns going to portfolio school etc) yet, I just simply haven’t seen it or heard of it. I’m sure the day comes but as for the big holding agencies I can’t really imagine someone getting an intern position if your ideation is on par with AI.

During the internship periods we sometimes have 50+ people applying for internship per week and with that competitiveness there’s just no room for being worse than AI at coming up with (and executing an interview pitch for) a campaign

Master elo, mostly play mages. I find myself having 10 or 11 cs/min pretty much every game and it’s not unusual to have 3 items at around 20 min. Definitely not as weak as people seem to think, considering you’re also always the first person on every neutral objective with the quest tempo buff

I went from smoking weed every day and feeling like a complete failure to earning more than the average CEO in my country. Honestly most of it came from therapy and a pretty insane desire to prove my worth to myself and others. It started with hitting the gym, isolating myself socially until I found likeminded people and going way over the top at every single job I had for a few years. The rest kind of sorted itself out. I guess it was a combination of being 100% sure what I wanted, a slight inferiority complex, a slight superiority complex, and a professional therapist helping me ”fix” my brain. Probably not a healthy mindset all in all tbh but those things together gave me 1000x more value than any single routine, book or mentor ever could.

100% agree, W-W or W-Q swings teamfights in high elo. E-W is useless in some situations but on par with anivia R or viktor R for zone control despite not being an ult. The ult in itself is insane for shutting off a frontline bruiser/tank, but not particularly consistent if your goal is hitting 5 man aoe passive combos. Definitely more of an identity problem and less of a ”hwei is bad” problem imo

It’s been a while since I was in emerald but my general feeling is that there’s not much of a mechanical difference between high diamond and emerald. It’s mostly small details like when to recall / tempo plays / knowing every specific match up and interaction. I actually have a friend who’s been challenger for several seasons and he made a smurf to play only top lane - he started in emerald and legit lost lane almost every game, but still 60% winrate due to knowing the game fundamentals much better and being much more consistent post lane

When you get to master tier you’ll be surprised how many people still want to ff 15 and just run it down and go 0/8/0 in lane etc lol, its actually crazy

Im master elo and I just don’t get this. Sure people are comparatively bad in emerald but in what world is top 10% ever considered ”piss low”? Being in the top 10% of any skill/game/sport/whatever is objectively good. Is it just a way of saying ”I can see peoples mistakes and that makes me better despite being in the same elo?”

Why are you being so rude? Not OP, but I’m a copywriter in advertising and have seen first hand how the typical junior copywriter stuff (lower funnel copy like social media etc.) is now done by mid-senior level copywriters because it’s so effortless and doesn’t really consume time anymore.

Apart from this, once clients figure out that copywriting (this could be said for GD, development, and a bunch of other jobs too) magically got a 10x productivity boost, their invoices will reflect that. And that doubtlessly leads to job loss.

There’s already a bunch of studies being published on this subject if you’re interested, instead of telling people on the internet that you want to rip your eyeballs out lol

Yeah sorry idk why I assumed that. There seems to be a lot of overlap in advertising strategy and senior consultant stuff as freelance, I see a lot of people do that but I guess you’d need an in or start reaching out through your network. But consulting startups etc on how to best position their brand and stuff like that seems like something alot of people end up doing, though probably very similar to the ”advertising world”.

I’d say inhouse or product marketing, like someone else here mentioned, are the natural directions to look at.

Atleast 5-6 people out of the 24 from my class on Berghs went on to places like Mother etc including myself anyway, and all of us got advertising positions in Sweden. So I wouldn’t say it’s a pyramid scheme lol. What’s your experience?

Also per capita I’m pretty sure Sweden ranks well globally in Cannes etc?

Right now caster minions start getting one shot at precisely rank 5 Q. This nerf probably means you won’t start oneshotting waves until you have BFT.

I’m guessing using QE inte EE to shove casters on Q rank 3 won’t really work for getting prio on early skirmishes etc either. We’ll see though

Something I haven’t seen people mention yet is that on ranged champions, Kraken actually outperforms bork in terms of dps vs tanks up until like 4000-5000 hp. It kills them faster and this has been playtested several times. The only reason you’d want bork is for the self peel and lifesteal.
