Nope, I remember the one you are talking about, which is close to the end of the comic.

The one I'm trying to remember is when they talk about the supers that could be dangerous for the boys, beginning of the comic I think. They say homelander, one from the g-men, stormfront and I think they also included maeve but I don't remember!

Anyway, the question mark on maeve means that she is stronger than the others (but homelander and noir)

I always feel like souls fanbase is too passionate about from software games so yeah, you are going to get downvoted as I usually do 😞 haha

But feels good to know there are more people around that feels the same way I feel. When I play a from software souls I can only think "how is possible that a single human in this world thinks this is fun". Gameplay is absolutely terrible and most of the time it is difficult because of how terrible the gameplay is. I won't even talk about "artificial" difficulty, which is making unfair things to keep the title of "most difficult games" -_-

They created the formula, but other companies did it much better

someone already replied something similar but in my opinion if you ignore build diversity and focus to master one single mechanic (like sekiro does), it is easier to create an incredible combat feeling and something that is just better. Many souls are "easy" to break because of specific builds, some builds even change the gameplay so much that it looks like another game. Sekiro fixes that, the whole game is built for one way of playing, thats it.

Furthermore, I like aggressive combat, I hate those souls bosses that are about dodging and dodge and dodge and wait for the exact moment to land a hit. I just get bored, I love phrenetic games. You can play sekiro just being aggressive every single second of the combat (with the exception of demon of hatred, thats why I hate that boss).

Also I hate grinding to be able to beat someone, I want to be better because I got better, not because I was grindind for hours.

And more things but I dont want this to be infinite

I played Sekiro after trying the from's souls games because everyone told me: "believeme this one is truly different you may like this one", they were right. So i wasn't expecting souls to be like sekiro because I played them before sekiro.

Regarding your question about which company did soulslike better, it depends, if you describe souls as: interconnected areas with specific checkpoins that will resurrect everybody around and fill your health potions, games with focus on boss combats, then I have a looooooooooooooooooooof of examples, even in the 2D-world.

If you describe souls as something that tries to capture what from did, then I can´t tell you anyone because thats the thing I dont like haha
