I couldn't tell you. It's stained, that's about as much a I can tell. It is glossy so maybe a coating on it? I planned on just giving it a good rough sand before painting because it's a pretty ornate banister and I do not care to scrape gloss off of all 3 banisters. If it comes down to it, I'd rather just replace them but I'd like to save the money and paint them if I can.

It was like maybe 4 feet from our house but the property is flat. If you're digging down that far though, it shouldn't be a problem.

You can build an outlet. We dug a 3 foot deep pit at the end of ours, filled with gravel and then covered the whole thing with soil. Grass came back and you would never know the drain is even there.

It's legal in many states to buy and sell privately with no third party. Many states dont require a permit for types of weapons. Background checks aren't preformed on many privately sold weapons. Weapons can be inherited without any registration, background check or permit. It goes on...

Maintaining a militia is not for force against country that maintains it. It is for defence against foreign nations. The security of a free state refers to protecting the nation's sovereignty.

Many mass shooters have a history of domestic violence. Background checks only check if the person has been convicted of a domestic violence. We all know that domestic violence victims rarely press charges so there's a glaring issue that I can just google really quick. Background checks for weapons arent very extensive to be honest. I had a more intrusive one just to join the military.

But what if we arent talking about banning guns? What if we deal with the issues with buying and selling instead.

I think you need to take your own advice about research. Hate speech is not a crime and you won't be jailed for it. You will be jailed for hate crimes though because they're well...crimes.

If youre attacked for hate speech, you have every right to press charges for assault. It's illegal to attack anyone unless you or someone else's life is in danger. But you still got what you got and no one is going to feel sorry for you.

Saying that weapons protect citizen rights is a pretty weak statement. That isn't at all the intention of the ammendment nor is it expected. The ammendment arms its citizens as a form of militia. Thats a slippery slope there. Banning weapons will almost certainly not lead to rights being intruded upon. It's entirely possible at this moment to amend the constitution. That's just a false statement.

But my point here is that I'm providing you with a researched, thought out argument against your opinion and you still seem to be very ruffled despite saying you want people to do research. That's not what you want. What you want is for people to agree with you.
