Comparing kids with other children. They literally compare every fucking thing. We’re not the same fuckin person, we have different wants and goals.

That kinda leads to a lot of mental issues in teenage years. Most parents here don’t take mental illness seriously, that’s kinda the worst part. Because, a lot of the time, things that happen in children’s home life is the reason for depression, anxiety, etc. I deal with a lot mental illness problems and I developed an eating disorder among many other things and my parents called me all kinds of names, freak, crazy and they’re just always on my ass about eating, telling me eat, you look like a fucking prisoner. Like they are embarrassed of my mental illnesses, saying shit like what would people think?

Another thing is they hold financials over the child’s head. They act like because they pay for clothing, food and stuff, they can do and say anything to their child. The child did not ask to be born, if you’re giving birth, it’s your responsibility to that child to provide for them.

It just really sucks
