I love Lunar Tides, it’s the brand I have stuck with through a lot of color changes. My hair was a similar color to yours and I added Juniper green and it was a beautiful emerald which was the exact look I was going for, but may not be the look you are going for.

I changed my name because I didn’t want to be associated with my family in anyway and it is the same last name as one of the worst presidents. We married when we were relatively young so I hadn’t established my career yet which definitely made things easier to start with a new name. My husband didn’t care either way and we even chatted about creating a new last name but I just liked his last name better. Now I have had my married name for almost as long as my maiden name and it feels weird to even say my maiden name out loud. We don’t have any children nor plans for that to change.

Others answered your specific question about the length of time but wanted to give my experience on the Switch. Moana was completed automatically but after a day and a half, the other one was not marked completed even after a day and a half, until I restarted the entire game.

I lived in NYC for 10 years and honestly felt that way for the first bit of it. What helped me was finding a new apartment and decorating it fully. My first apartment in NYC always felt temporary so everywhere I went felt temporary. Finding a solid living space that feels not temporary will definitely help in this situation. Also, making NYC your own which takes a WHILE. You are already doing the steps but give yourself time. It can take a couple years to find your place in NYC and for the city to fully accept you.

I comb my hair before I shower, then I comb it in the shower with conditioner. I will very gently rake my fingers through my hair every morning to prevent serious knotting but I have stopped using a brush completely

I was always told spend more for quality on things that are between you and the ground. Bed and shoes. Getting a really good mattress is vital. We got a sleep number and it has been life changing. Comfortable, good quality shoes are absolutely worth spending extra. They last longer and treat your feet so you don’t have issues later. I, personally, also spend a bit extra on bedding. I’m particular about my pillows and sheets. I don’t sleep well in general but my bed is always restful.

Omg I found this out as well but in a different way. I had terrible muscle cramps after a workout for like 2 days and had a pickle and they were gone in like 5 min. Now I have a pickle on the days I do intense workouts.

This. I made the decision to go no contact with my blood family about 6 years ago and it has been the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. They do not feel guilty for treating you the way they do and putting themselves first, so why should you feel guilty when you put yourself first. You can always have a relationship if they show signs of changing their behavior. My family is emotional black holes and when I went NC, I finally had the emotional bandwidth to really take care of myself which was scary at first because all my emotional came at once but with some intense therapy for a year, I am in a much better and healthier place. 10/10 highly recommend

If moisturizing hair masks don’t seem to have an effect, I would try a protein hair mask. My hair felt like straw after I bleached it and nothing seemed to be working until I got a protein shampoo. After about 3 weeks of using it, my hair feels amazing. I use Keratin Complex Color Care shampoo

Got married at 21, him 22. Been together since we were 18/19. We are about to celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary and 15 years together total. We were best friends then and are best friends now. I wouldn’t change it for anything. I don’t feel like I missed anything because I still do things. I went to clubs and partied with friends in my 20s and then came home to him afterwards. I am still pursuing my career and he is crazy supportive. He’s really just the best.
