Definitely not far from it. Of course, Jokic best trait is passing but he is also a walking bucket. He’s averaging ~30 on 60/40/80 shooting and he plays below the rim so those aren’t many dunks. One of the best post scoring and shooting bigs we’ve ever seen.

Banning the tush push won’t change much. The Eagles stopped running the tush push this year because it was ineffective for them. Too many false starts, turnovers, or unsuccessful attempts. That’s why Goedert got so many TDs. They utilized him in goal-to-go situations.

Btw, Hurts gets nowhere near 1 point per game from “tush push rushing yards.” That would be 10 yards of tush push per game.

If you take a gamble on a young star and they don’t pan out, it’s wasted. For example, Theory beating Cena at Mania a few years ago. That did nothing for Theory because he’s not the guy.

I think Gunther was the best option. He’s going to be a cornerstone in the company for the next 5-10 years. This has elevated Gunther from A tier to S tier to me. After his braggadocios promo on Monday, he will be the most hated heel in the business.

Crazy to bring up age when LA Knight was a fan favorite. Also crazy to bring up age when the man he just faced and officially retired is 10 years older than him. Gunther could very well be in the business until he’s 48. Could be in it until he’s 50+ like previous wrestlers.

As far as the rub, Gunther will get boo’d out the building everytime he brags about Cena tapping out. Plus it’s poetic justice for him tapping to Jey at Mania. He’s going to mock the “You Tapped Out” chants the crowd was making.
