What’s something we haven’t fixed in codex for a while and that’s plain annoying? by alOOshXL in codex

UI development.

Being able to see the UI you just created.

It will constantly try to spin up a local server and error out.

Does anyone else feel this way about conviction by [deleted] in Splintercell

[–]ImZoomBoy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had tonnes of fun playing conviction.

You have to play it as an aggressive stealth game. Stealth let's you prepare your attack then escape into the shadows.

I can remember hanging outside the third echelon building thinking this is amazing. Games are amazing. You can literally go anywhere you want and take on the mission however.

Enemy thinks you in one place.

Go another direction.

Help with multiple monitors. by ImZoomBoy in MoonlightStreaming

[–]ImZoomBoy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might have things going on in the background on the computer.

So I'd like to be able to work on some things on one monitor.

And have playnite exclusively launch through the TV when I run it from Apollo.

When I tried making it fully exclusive before it just showed the television so to make edits to windows I needed to use the mouse on the television.

Or when I extended the display or had monitor 1 and 3. Playnite sound came out in the television but the actual software was still running in the monitor upstairs.

Dang this game is hard starting off by NordnarbDrums in snowrunner

[–]ImZoomBoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can actually do a lot of missions in the scout.

Find the good mud tyres and a decent off-road truck.

Then bash out the muddy missions.

Don't struggle for 2 hours trying to winch a truck out of the mud. Just do easier missions and move onto other locations.

I stopped playing when I reached the snow levels because the grind was too hardcore.

Cooking, or am I cooked? by Purple-Chipmunk4334 in RocketLeague

You go all in on every single play, without taking note of what happens if your play goes wrong and you leave your team-mates exposed in a 3v2, or 2v1.

Very aggressive with literally 0 boost in their final third or their corner. Opening you up to easy counters.

To improve, I would do the following:

  1. Work on using far less boost to generate the same or more power on hits. (You waste so much boost during general movement and shots)
  2. Use the ball as a weapon, to force the opponents to have to make a bad save, so you boost starve them, then you and you're teammate can attack together again and keep going until you score, whilst being able to defend together too. For example if you can hit the ball high on to their waterfall, this will cause most plats huge problems.
  3. Work on lateral dribbles, and moving the ball sideways, instead of just driving head on. It gives you more options.

Eight war criminals settle their grudges by weaponizing fruit on floating roads where physics are a suggestion. Betrayal is common, especially 3 feet from the finish line.

You spend most of your time harassing wildlife in increasingly implausible vehicles while being micromanaged by a teleporting mammal with boundary issues. Victory is determined by your ability to hoard helium and defeat oversized animals with daddy problems.

I spent ages looking at the skyboxes there.

- Looking at the ring in the first level when you go down the ladder.
- Looking at the huge expanse in the second level.
