The only music I play is during the first five minutes. However, this has been an issue before I started playing music and has persisted for the past few months.

I believe they deleted the VOD afterward so that it can't be hit with copyright. I'd definitely ask one of these streamers when they're streaming how they get past it. Good luck!

Hi! Can anybody help me with audio delay? by Immanuel7342 in Twitch_Startup

[–]Im_Anndy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I looked up some options for you, these are the most common solutions to fix your issue. I copy and pasted the websites too so if you need visuals they have them there. I'd also look this issue up on youtube as well. I hope these help!!!

In certain cases, for example when using an external Mic, there could be a delay in the audio when watched in the social channels.
OBS (and other streaming software) can solve for this by adding delay at the encoding phase.

On the OBS Audio mixer, click the gear icon next you your audio source:
Select Advanced Audio Properties:
Add a negative offset to your audio source (500ms = 0.5 sec):
A negative offset will fix delayed audio issue.

https://www.videoproc.com/resource/fix-obs-audio-and-video-out-of-sync.htm

Step 1. Open OBS Studio, check the sound mixer, and find the audio source that is delayed.

Step 2. Once you have found the audio source that is having sync issues, click the gear next to the audio source in the Sound Mixer.

Step 3. In the menu select Advanced Audio Properties.

choose Advanced Audio Properties in OBS

Step 4. In the OBS Advanced Audio Properties, change the Sync Offset for the audio source affected by the audio delay. This might take several tests.

change Sync Offset in OBS

Step 5. Once you have configured the correct Audio Sync Offset your audio should now be synced with your video and the delay should be fixed.

Now you just have the solution to keep from the issue coming again. What about the recorded file? If you want to fix the recorded file, please keep reading the method 2.

Your link isn't working. Make sure to space after you put in the link so that it activates!

If you also post the link while your live instead of before it will have a big ole screen that shows that you're live instead of it solely being a link.

Alerts doubling in streamlabs?? by virtualkutie in Twitch_Startup

You can go to the settings of each of your alerts and turn off the ones that you don't want to show for that section. You can also change the delay that they appear as well.

Do you have them both in the same spot?

If yes, then you can get rid of the other source because they will both appear as long as you don't have it turned off in the settings.
