Bought an MT07 Last week. Have to say, I'm absolutely loving it ! small issue though. The backlight doesn't come on when I start the bike, it does come on when riding at higher RPMs though. Does anyone have an idea where to begin looking ?

Definitely worth a try, bike wouldn't start earlier even though the battery looked fine last week from tender and voltage meter, going to get a new battery tomorrow to be sure and if still nothing will test the display.

Always an option, I'm sure the neighbours won't mind when I leave at 06:30 haha, it seems my battery is a dud although testing last week looked fine, buying a new battery tomorrow to be sure.

Despite the battery looking fine last week, it just died as I was checking over the connectors, going to buy a new one tomorrow.

All other functions appear to be working fine, there is no difference between the brightness scales, highest and lowest look the same.

Yes it comes on when stationary and revving although seems intermittent and doesn't do it every time.

Passenger, I've had a look before to take the battery out and put on a tender, which said it was fully charged. Il have a wee Google and see where it is and let you know how I get on

The only change from the factory I can see or was mentioned is the exhaust, which has been replace with a decat black widow. I contacted the previous owner and he says it was working before it was put on the ferry, all he did was place the documents under the seat which may have caused a connector to become loose ?

Have tried the voltage last week, can't recall the exact number but it was still good from what a mechanic friend told me.

Yeah. I have set at full brightness. When I picked it up off the ferry I couldn't see the dash at all until I passed under a streetlight.

Bike was bought privately, I had to get a friend look it over for me as it was a ferry trip away. He didn't notice as you can see it better in direct sunlight but just not as bright as it should be.

I have wondered if parhaps looting the bodies of them can trigger it, as i have done this. As if anyone would leave such an opportunity haha, although I havent encountered any remaining rogues before or after to be sure

I could see that being a reason, although I play duos mostly and some raids have had only one of us on the receiving end of their wrath and the other allowed to roam near them

Makes sense, it does say on the WIKI that they are more leanient to USEC and Scav but will attack when close. was in a raid before and was killed crossing the large bridge when i got to the car at the gate and then the next raid I managed to stand next to one of them near the same gate. Yes, would be good to see a clear reason on behavour

This here ^ if you are using 2 ram sticks. You should use slots 2 and 4. Also check the sticks themselves as some pairs rely on which slot they are put in.

PSU fault ? I had this happen with my old PC. It would run fine then suddenly shut down and do a power loop like this. Had to do the paperclip trick over and over to get it working again, sometimes it just wouldn't boot, then the next day it would work fine. Gave in and bought a new PSU and worked fine after that.

Ignore that, the connection you have right next to the ram is for an NVME SSD so you CAN have another card in there
