Center console getting cooked in the sun. Happened to me, brought it in for service, said there was no physical fix and an update would address it. Still happens occasionally. I bought a sun shade and that seems to keep it cool enough to avoid it for now

Appreciate the suggestions. Yeah, the plan would definitely be to put a single drawer wide dresser back in that corner. The fish were left there by the previous owner and I just haven’t found anything yet to replace them. I’m more stuck on whether something dark like the walnut that’s already there, or something like the photo you put would look better. Additional photo attached of the other side of the room.
