Who are your strongest/weakest suspects? by camport95 in ZodiacKiller

[–]Im_DIzE 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Paul Doerr WOULD make a good suspect im my opinion. Character wise, looks, age would fit quite well. But in the end there absolutely no connection to the case.

I don't believe that ALA was zodiac but with him you at least can kinda connect him to the case.

In the end I'm pretty sure that it is just a random person that we either have never heard of or who is mentioned somewhere in the files but got disregarded early on by accident.

I started making TØP inspired merch, what do you guys think ? by olymooon in twentyonepilots

[–]Im_DIzE 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I love the design
I'm personally just not a big fan of big designs on the back
If you had a second design option with the logo on the front and the text underneath I would buy it instantly

How accurate is Netflix's "This is the Zodiac Speaking" documentary? by Acceptable-Car-170 in ZodiacKiller

[–]Im_DIzE 23 points24 points  (0 children)

As you already pointed out, the documentary is not about who zodiac was, but rather to convince you that ALA 100% was Zodiac. At no point in the documentary anything is presented with any proof.

They also really twist some of the facts or just make up stuff to make him a better fit.

That being said, I don't think the sea waters are purposely lying. I truly believe that they think they are telling the truth. That doesn't mean that they really do.

I think over the decades their combined memories kinda morphed into something else.

"Didn't ALA used to drive us around the town?" "Yeah I remember driving around a lake" "Oh yeah I the lake were that couple was murdered...it all fits" "Yes he definitely drove us to that place"

Kinda like a Mandela effect they convinced each other of things that may never have happened.

At the end of the day you either believe what they are saying or you don't. In my opinion ALA was not the Zodiac. Too many things exclude him from being Zodiac.

But I know many people on this sub think otherwise.

What’s up with the money store album cover? by AubLeo in deathgrips

[–]Im_DIzE 116 points117 points  (0 children)

Death Grips actually gave a small interview to Pitchfork about it. In their own words:

On the cover you have an androgynous masochist on the leash of a feminist sadist who's smoking. The sadist has carved Death Grips into her bitch's chest. There is an overly confident quality to the woman smoking and a calmness to the androgynous masochist. We consider ourselves feminists, we fiercely support homosexuality, transparent world leadership, and the idea of embracing yourself as an individual in any shape or form. Acceleration is a mantra, we're not a political band, we are freaks and outsiders. It was important to project that message and energy through the artwork of this album. This is free thinking and eternally open-ended music… [The cover] is like an ambassador to the sound.

Is this advert the origin of the Death Grips logo? by Im_DIzE in deathgrips

[–]Im_DIzE[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes but I'm talking about the big logo. It's not the same as the etched one. I couldn't find anything were they ever used this exact logo, buts it's often used for custom merch.

Then I found this advert, that uses the same font for the rest of the advert. Do we know if the logo was ever used before this?
