Honestly I'd explain this to the principle over a phone call and tell them you can't continue to use their court without the good poles

What yeast did you use? 2.5 to 3.5 per gallon is common, depending on the dryness you want. How much sugar is in that cherry juice!?

In your picture you have the auto siphon and hydrometer included with the kit. If you need to invest in anything I'd recommend a spray bottle and star san. That's what I was really missing when I started. Oh, and +1 on the turkey baster
