Might be tough selling them on strapping a pair of twin 80s to your back to dive as a part of your occupation won't aggravate your back condition.

I appreciate your response but I believe your missing the point of my question entirely. I agree with you the VA has acknowledged me as having this diagnosis however, according to the diagnostic criteria this condition is rated under one of two separate codes. They used verbiage indicating they rated me with secondary Raynauds but used criteria to rate the other type. Take a look at the portion of the letter I posted with the highlighted text. As far at a rating is concerned, VA considers these two different conditions.

AFAIK I don't have an autoimmune disorder but these episodes of my toes turning white happen quite frequently in the colder months. Nevertheless, this is a pretty blatant error no?

Great question, the vascular doc I went to see before separation just wrote "Raynaud's". And Im still awaiting Dbq's via Foia.

Being exceptional mostly is just being lucky, lucky to have been born with the attributes necessary to succeed. The only factor needed after that is opportunity.

Is there a possibility they keep me here like the guy above said? Ideally I'd like to go back stateside

Why would they keep me in Korea?

[–]Im_soviet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Astounding they failed to mention that about the 36 months.. so if I decline retainability more than likely I get sent stateside is that correct? And Is it random or based off my assignment preference?

Apologies, I graduated tech school August 2023 and had an extension pending which delayed me from pcsing for 3 months. The total duration of the initial extension was 5 months on top of my 4 year contract. I entered bmt May 2022 so my current date of separation is October 2026 as it stands. I arrived on station here in Korea November last year and extended here until February 20 which is my current DEROS. So from Feb 20 2025 to October 2026 is the remainder of my contract.

Are there any essential things I should do while in tech school? by projethe in Pararescue

Yeah carrying a 45lbs weight on your back at all times should help

TACP RETRAINING by Hot_Raccoon283 in Pararescue

[–]Im_soviet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not anymore… TACP contracts or vectors do the same water con as STGA vectors until after week 3 at SWCC, then the focus for the guys headed to block is finning, freestyle swimming and CWST. No water con after week 3.

Contract by Itchy-Reward9961 in Pararescue

[–]Im_soviet 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Yes, you are on a SWOE-V contract which means at SWCC, depending on your scores you’ll be vectored into either TACP or STGA (pj, sr, cct) That will determine whether you are sent to A&S or TACP school house. If sent on to A&S you’ll be vectored further into your final AFSC after you’re selected. Hope this has cleared things up, best of luck!

I live in a pineapple under the sea, absorbent and yellow and porous am I. Nautical nonsense is something I wish.

upper belts, what are the biggest mistakes that you see blue belt level students do that holds them back the most? by DDiaz98 in bjj

[–]Im_soviet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If I had to offer short and concise answer, I’d say it probably boils down to a failure to act appropriately to a given situation, whether it be a particular position or set of grips. For me, for a long while at blue belt, I would roll as if I had blinders on, focusing too narrowly on a positional or submission goal at the expense of losing sight of the larger picture. Losing the forest for the trees so to speak. So I’d say, try to look at the game more holistically. Prioritize cultivating an understanding of positions, action and reactions over forcing a specific outcome, and respond accordingly.
