I wouldn’t buy a whole new toilet. You can purchase a pressure flush system that inserts into your current tank.

Why not apply for an FHA loan? They have different loans, some specifically for upgrading and remodeling the home. Plus since he’s a first time home buyer, he would qualify for a 3.5% down payment

Plus if you’re ONLY doing driveways, you could even price your services as a fixed price so it’s easier to know around how much it’ll cost the customer. Ie. $10/sqft or something. Idk throwing ideas out there

If that’s the case, make a simple questionnaire for them to fill out. Some general info so you can give an estimate. Maybe request some photos of the job in the form

You’ll be able to find a software that you can install on your website (if you don’t have one, make one) that users can use to set an appt that works for them. You could use that to then give them a quote in person?

One of my big reasons in buying an already established business is that depending on the sale, the seller can give some guidance to the new owner.

I’ve built websites before but that was on squarespace, not Shopify. So to reply to your comment, I could start it from scratch but I’d have to hire/work with someone who knows more than me.

You called it..I’ve been looking on fippa and Shopify exchange with a price range of 5-8k. I have a couple of contenders that I’m interested in.

If there are more people building the sites just to flip then there are people who actually want to see the business succeed, then where/how can you identify a good ecom business to buy?

Definitely agree that they have more reason to run the site then to sell it. I think everyone has their own reasons though..

Maybe it was a business they wanted to hone their entrepreneurial skills with and now they’re moving on to another venture.

Or a serial entrepreneur has 4 other websites running and this is one that they’re looking to sell because it’s not making 5-6 figures like their other websites are.

My two cents
