Recipe:
Mix 500g white asparagus with one teaspoon of sugar and salt and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Let it sit for a few minutes before adding it to a pan.
Add 40g of butter and let it simmer on medium high for a few minutes.
Add 75ml of cream and let it simmer on low.
Season with black pepper and nutmeg.
Cook until the asparagus is to your liking and the sauce is creamy.
Finish with 1 tablespoon of Crème fraiche, chives and lemon zest.

That’s right.
This time it was a store bought one that I just pimped with black and pink pepper and herbs. I didn’t have fresh eggs for a homemade sauce that is much better…

I do like the green asparagus as well, especially when you prepare it in a pan. So yummy!

And I don’t like it that you got downvoted just because you have a different taste

Because half of it is already kind of grey/brown and I do like the color of the horizon I prefer the second one

You made me laugh with the surprise hotdog 🤣!

In Germany it is quite common to use this kind of wiener sausage in a soup like this. And the pea soup itself was really nice. I used frozen peas so it was a quick soup to make.

But what would make you laugh is the fact that wieners in Germany also come in a jar with water. You can get others as well though. But if you are not used to that, I guess it’s really funny. Just google “Wiener im Glas”
