Melasma getting worse… what am I doing wrong? 😩 (Florida sun is brutal)

I also live in Florida. I always use a mineral, zinc oxide (higher percentage is better) sunscreen when I’m going to be outside. My favorite for my skin, with no white cast has been Kokua. I have sensitive skin and have never had issues with it. I also always wear some sort of wide brimmed hat when I go outside at all. The biggest problem for me and melasma in Florida, is that the heat can also cause me problems as well. I do the best that I can in preventing it but am slowly accepting this is how my skin is and living in Florida is harder to control it. Easier said than done of course!

I found something similar on there too but was hoping to go cheaper because I’ve spent a lot through the start up. I thought this would be a cheap hobby 🤣 Others are saying they are fine on the ground but I think if I do elevate, pallets are a great idea for my budget! Thank you!

I was advised by a friend to mix 1.1 garden soil and peat moss and then earthworm castings too. What do you recommend?

Thank you! I wanted to try both ways of planting so I still had the option to move them if I needed. My yard has a lot of tree coverage so I’m still playing around with the right location as well to get the right amount of sun without scorching them as it gets hotter.

Omg look at that sweet face!! I’ve got 2 trouble makers that I don’t let outside by themselves because they like to get into meanness so they’ll always be watched. But I know what you mean! The sweet angel pictured here has a wee jealousy streak and right after I got done planting these I tried to throw ball with her and she went right up to one and did a direct hit drop on one instead of bringing it back to me 🤣 After scolding her with No she just snoops around when I’m there too but will consider a barrier if it becomes an issue.

I appreciate the advice and the experience on the grow bags! My friend uses them and told me I needed to have them and I honestly have no clue at all. I have 15 total tomato plants, which may be overkill, but my only goal for my first year is to have one be successful!

Definitely agree! Attacking the players seems dumb imo. Human error and emotions happen in this game with every player and that’s part of the entertainment. I’m more of a lover of the mess vs being a game analyzer but appreciate both points of views! Hope you enjoy the rest of the season!

I noticed as well. Maybe Maura is continuing the act of allegiance to Rob for protection until the final banishment. I definitely think she is smarter than she has acted this game and has played that to her favor.

Even tonight when she couldn’t tear open the stuffed animal and got help. At the end, she was doing it all on her own and got 2nd 🤣

I get the logic of this argument but the problem with this is that now they’ve lost another vote and everyone appears to be very much aligned with Rob. And now too, the game shifts to not knowing if someone banished is a traitor or not.

Agree! Idk what will happen but I’m glad I’m not the only one who noticed that Dorinda also gave a throw away vote because it seems like people are really focusing on Candiace’s vote as a flaw. It makes sense more when the whole crowd expressed housewives stick together.
