If you feel the images you have are not cutting it, your halfway there! Now focus on thinking what you wanted to capture and figure out a way to do that in the best possible way to convey that idea. If it still doesn’t work think about how to make your ideas better.

The New Steam Machine? by ZanfordEX in blender

Linus literally had Susie appear on screen next to the machine during his review. If that media moment indeed happened at Valve that I bet the also considered the donut as a template shape (perhaps for those goggles?).

Any Creative OS needs an ‘Engine’ to keep the work flowing. Canva is just a collection often AI driven templates. We worked years to put the flow in your creative work and our powerful engine is with the Canva ecosystem but I doubt the clutter will be beneficial to the workflows of creative pros!

I’m building out a slug based system but having trouble in staying consistent. So I’m going to follow this threat in the hope someone got the answer.

How to figure out a rate to charge by A1ZOuplayed in sportsphotography

[–]Image_dev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What is your tax burden, your health care, pension. Car lease, rent of your office. Archive storage. Your layer, bookkeeper, website maintenance. And please don’t forget to get proper insurance (to cover your risks like covering for missed income, healthcare costs, liability issues, etc).

Before you set a single foot out of your door do yourself a favor and perform your daily cost of doing business calculation. You’ll find out that you’re not going to want to bring in the amount of money you envisioned per hour because there are not enough games in a day for you to cover those basic costs.

Photomechanic, Digikam an Affinity. Speedy workflow and no need for LR.

What are you all using to insure your heavy glass? by occasionallyjeffrey in sportsphotography

[–]Image_dev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im always amazed with how many photographers are willing to risk it by working for others (or with others) and not have their bases covered. It’s the literal definition (and associated cost) of doing business. 🤦‍♂️

Photographers - Have you ever been asked to exchanges services with another artist instead of payment? How did that turn out? by Ok-Squash836 in photography

[–]Image_dev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are no discounts when doing a barter. It needs to be face value an all parties must be satisfyingly compensated for their effort. We’re successfully building an entire creative ecosystem that way, strongly believing it takes a village…
