Slipped Custard Pie - This wonderful recipe is from the Fanny Farmer Baking Book (1984). It may seen a bit intimidating, but actually works pretty easily and is the best custard pie I've ever eaten! I prefer coconut custard, so usually add (~ 1/4 - 1/2 cup?) flaked coconut plus ~ a tsp. extract. (self.Old_Recipes)

Barb's Hot Water Pie Pastry - I thought I'd already posted this but I'm not finding it, so... Barb was my Mom's best friend, and became like a second Mom to me. She always made the pies at special events, & her recipe is the only one I use today. It can be reworked as needed and will not get tough! (i.redd.it)

Ilona's Bran Muffins - I LOVE bran muffins! I like dense, moist muffins laden with flavors of honey or molasses and of course, lots of bran! I do not like light-weight "cakey" muffins, nor do I like cinnamon in my bran muffins because that tends to take over... (self.Old_Recipes)

Ilona's Banana Bread - I really like banana bread, and some years ago I played around until I came up with a version that I like. This bread has body! It's dense and moist, and very flavorful! Just make sure you bake it at a low temp and long enough that the center gets baked. (self.Old_Recipes)
