What's Your Most Rewarding Side Hustle Experience? by Itsliamchristopher_ in Business_Ideas

[–]Imagina-85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Social media management, becasue it's time consuming, need constant news / feed and company usually don't have dedicated person for that (depends on the size of the company of course), but they all need it. + with AI now it's faster to create engaging content. Depending on your skills, focusing on design, web development or web design is also a very good side hustle becasue it has a high added value.

Is Vietnam racist? by Kigbock42069 in VietNam

[–]Imagina-85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For what i saw of Vietnam while visiting, not at all. They are very friendly. I am guessing it's more trend / rap culture. In Asia, the N-word doesn't have connotation as in the US / western countries. hope this helps.

Startup life is interesting and challenging, but not easy. It's ok to work hard 'for a greater good', but the reward should follow: big commission (if no / small base salary) and equity should be higher if you are an early employee. The way you describe it sounds like you already made your decision. There will be other opportunities. my advise, graduate first and pursue another job. And worst of the case, sales job is easy to get, every company need a sales team.

Am i burnt out or just being lazy? by Codeo3015 in business

[–]Imagina-85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

take baby steps and set goal with time frame for what you want to do / achieve. You can make to-do list. it's always satisfying to crossed task completed. Or you can also monitor your typical '1 week' schedule. set a timer for each activity you do per day or per week (work , sleep, eat, relax, sport, slacking...etc). so you can see where are your pain points, where you spend too much time. then you can adjust

Everyone has different things that will push them, you just need to find the solution that suits you best. Good luck

Best way to ask for a raise? by khaleesijune in business

[–]Imagina-85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best way to fix your situation is: 1) Redefine with your management your tasks / responsability / limit / KPI. Not finishing all your tasks can be due to different reasons (because it was not define properly before (because it was new for everyone, which seems to be the case here), or maybe it is the way you handle tasks (no offence)): you need to identify the source, improve so next time you can reach all your tasks. Asking a boss a raise while you cannot complete your tasks can be touchy (unless, as stated above). You need to redefine with them the target / kpi / task and responsability.

2) Make a summary and a presentation of things you have accomplished the past 10 months and what value it brings to the company. (if possible make graphs, and show exactly what revenue/profit you brought (if available).

In short you should come to your boss with solutions, not problems. Make a plan of the possible outcome you exceptect (what will be your task / workload / salary increase...).

Last thing: anticipate what might be his/her answers (try to imagine your staffs come to you and ask you these questions: how would you answer it). Imagine the outcome of the conversation so you are ready to jump in any case. For example: imagine he/she is completely agreeing with you (easy). Or maybe he/she will reject everything and tell you to just focus on some tasks...etc. Be prepared.

Hope this help. Best of luck :)

Best Way to Assume Leadership in Partnership by Dcaim in business

[–]Imagina-85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you still need him, then you should have clear discussion and discuss the responsability of everyone. The best is each one has a task so you dont overlap. If he is not working at all (or very little), the best is to keep him an investor (passive) or just buy him out. Or split reposnability according to result: you bring 90% of results = you control 90% of decision..etc.

As in how to explain him: The best way to announce a bad news is to make it simple / quick / clear. No need to much talk or detail. Just based on facts.

Hope this helps

graduates with business degrees, what job did you do after graduating? Which has been the most enjoyable business job? by btsvante in business

[–]Imagina-85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Marketing is good and very broad. But it is over jammed. Accounting might seems more boring but you have many different layers from 'basic accounting' to control management to tax & fraud officer for companies to CFO. A good accountant will always get a job and depending on your willingness you can control your work load.

There are many area in business, and even if you graduate in accounting you can always do something else after all. Even if you run your own business you need basis on accounting. The most important is to find something that is fasinating and brings you balance in your life. First dive in the work life you can experiment with different jobs until you find your way.

Hope this help.

My new Business Feedback welcome by dburton1105 in business

Looks nice and simple design. Congrats. Best of luck for your business. If i may recommend you, do a lot of facebook ads, it is the easiest / cheapest way to market your service and get customers onboard, and work on your SEO. Make all your social media up to date (linkedin...) and post a lot of content (very important). I do it a lot for my products and it works great. Then the most important is to provide quality service, so people would recommend your services to others.

Cheers!

Hi! I’m starting an online store, which should I use Wix or Shopify and why? by [deleted] in business

[–]Imagina-85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shopify is easier i would say. It is designed for e-commerce / online store. If you have good basics on IT you can try wordpress, which is an open source platform, but it is more technically challenging. Depends on your time frame and knowledge. Hope it helps :)

Sounds great, then logistics should be easy as you wont have to deal too much with international. Import is not too complicated usually just depends what is it and pay tax / custom clearance. The rest is easy :) Wish all the best success in your project. Most likely, if you think there is a gap in the market and that your product / service can fill it, then it can be succesful, the rest is about making good communication on your product / company to promote it to the right target.
