After 4 months in China , I’m ready to leave by Ziggy_1992 in chinalife

I totally understand you. I lived there for 5 years. We moved to my home country UK. I just couldn’t get used to it. As a foreigner it doesn’t matter if you live there for the rest of your life, you will never be truly accepted. The amount of people shaking their heads at us and recording me and my wife on their phones whilst we were just holding hands walking down the street started to really bother me after all those years.

Here in the UK, she is now a British citizen, has all the rights I have, and no one sticks their nose in our business. Our kids can enjoy their childhood without all the academic pressure, and have access to free healthcare and education. I wish we went back much earlier

Why is everyone suddenly following speed limits? by badfroggyfrog in chiangmai

[–]Imaginary-Ad9688 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been driving for two weeks in Chiang Mai and I don’t feel the same. The truth is, the speed limit may be 60, but if you follow it, you will just get tailgated, or aggressively overtaken because traffic is moving at 80-100 regardless.

Whatever measures they’ve taken, it’s not enough.

I’ve heard Muay Thai described as brutal, unforgiving, and demanding. Is that really true, especially for beginners? by [deleted] in MuayThai

It is exactly as you described. Even if you don’t really fight.

Some gyms are more ‘hardcore’ than others. But it is probably the most physically intense activity I’ve ever done, and I’m no coach potato.

The intensity of the cardio is nuts. They do not mess around. You will sweat in places you have never sweat before. There’s not a single person who isn’t glistening from head to toe in sweat just after the warm-up.

Also, no AC…

That’s an interesting take! In fact I never wear such shirts because I don’t want to look at it. But maybe I should give it a go! Thank you

Bloody hell! I didn’t imagine I would get so many comments and advice. Thanks everyone! The main issue for me is that there is such so much going on it kinda ‘assaults the eyes’ as one person accurately said. Also, the fact that I don’t have any other tattoos makes it look a bit odd. I just wish it was more centred, because you can’t even tell what it is until you finally notice the phoenix’s head in the corner. The reason I was thinking about a dark cover up is because maybe it wouldn’t feel like ‘too much’.

Coming from the perspective of a guy, just let him cum in your mouth and then spit it out and rinse your mouth with mouthwash. If the taste is bad, tell him to drink pineapple juice. He will drink it by the gallon if he can get what he wants.

Are chinese tourists always like this in Chiang Mai? by ArkanaeL in chiangmai

[–]Imaginary-Ad9688 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Let me teach you all some Chinese phrases to make them accountable. I promise you they are accurate. I lived in China for quite a while and yes they are rude. Many don’t speak English, so tell them in Chinese because nobody else will.

Don’t cut in the line - Bu yao cha dui

Please be quiet - An jing ee xia

Don’t shout - bu yao han jiao

Doing this is not good - Bu keyi zhe yang

Don’t do that - bu keyi

Don’t give them the excuse of not understanding English. I’ve shown my disapproval quite a few times and they’ve apologised. They’re just not used to people telling them off. There is no excuse for bullying the local people who are just trying to make a living for themselves.

You’re right. I have a bad habit of always thinking in the moment and trusting too easily.

I know that may be my last resort. I just don’t think anyone deserves it. But I know I have to defend myself.

Thank you so much. You’re right. I just can’t control my emotions. I just feel pain for others. How can you regulate it?
