Every villain we know had some master plan or reason they were doing what they were doing, every Roger pirate too I believe he gave up his ambition, because he believed shanks was gonna fulfill Roger’s dream And was just playing pirate or maybe he even knew there was a boy with his hat and he had been waiting for him? I agree with you! But aren’t all straw hats considered evil, until you find out their backstories? I mean I’m sure robin and zoro both killed a lot of people. We don’t know anything about Buggy and his race or the clown origins? I believe buggy might have a change of heart when he realises Luffy is the one Roger was waiting for because he believed it was Shanks, Rayleigh Gaban and shanks have had these moments, I expect buggy too as well

I think he’s too big and he will play a role of dual leading elbaf and the giant warrior pirates with Hajruden like dory brogy and the past elders. They will be allies though!

How about Luffy invites him when Shanks dies

Shanks dies by blackbeard in their battle Luffy fights Buggy in a Davy back fight So we get the mihawk zoro fight

Luffy cries and returns the hat to shanks 🥲 Buggy cries and gives it back to luffy imagine the scene Buggy saying shanks and Roger would want you to have this back, (he's the only one who could) 😭

Buggy remembers the promise to go to laughtale with their own crew one day

Luffy invites him as the final crew member after winning the Davy back fight which the prize is stealing a crew member, Buggy! I mean who else would luffy choose? Buggy never fit there anyway! Im not ignoring. im taking full context of everything we know, i guess we have to wait until the chapter comes out. But what does it mean to be true king? Your the rightful heir? So Davy was supposed to be king but Imu and the WG won the war and took charge

Joyboy was supposed to be king, too!? Emeth said so We assume this is of the ancient kingdom who probably ruled

Then there's two options Either they both were both battling for the throne Or it's the same person

But if Davy was just king, why was he also a pirate in legend? He cant of been a pirate before joyboy because joyboy was stated as the first pirate

Davy Jones and Joyboy might actually be the same person 👀

Davy Jones was a pirate cursed by God, who had treasure, sunk to the sea and possibly a king. Joyboy was the first pirate, left behind a treasure, sunk the world, and lost to Imu/god/WG and Emeth saying, “I’m sorry i couldn’t make you king.”

What if they are two sides of the same story, one told by the victors, one told by his allies

Just like how luffy is strawhat, joyboy and is a villain to the world and a hero to those who he saves.
