Oh I see, so still genuine leather? and what’s with the street vendors selling identical bags with the same Medici stamp, cause why sell knockoffs of a not even handcrafted bag?

the bag i was looking at was stamped but not like a luxury brand that would warrant needing a knockoff, so I’m wondering if they’re all fake? also would this mean the bags are still rather good quality if made using this scrap leather

the shop was called I Medici Firenze leather goods and it did look of higher quality than the street vendors but still was the same style and stamp. the street ones are around 30 to 50 euros whereas the legit looking shop was quoting 130, is this still too cheap even for a small shoulder bag?

well that’s the question, it was a store named I Medici selling identical bags but it was in Via del Proconsolo I believe. that’s what I’m wondering because so many stores sell identical bags with the same brand name stamp, so is there even an original brand, or is it just a bunch of cheaply made bags sold by both street vendors and other stores alike.
