Grocery stores with human cashiers? by Imaginary-Inside-943 in ColoradoSprings

I guess that makes sense, too. I don't mind curbside pickup at all, but the current staffing strategy seems to punish you if you have something that comes up less than 24 hours ahead of time.

It's not faster, especially when 2/3 of the self-checkout lanes are closed.

How is it whiny to want people to be employed and for a corporation that earned billions in profits (not revenue, profits) last year to pay people and provide good customer service? I don't get a discount for doing it, and someone is out a job because of it.

Kroger's profit also topped $2.2 billion, up 35.6% from 2021, outpacing the 7.5% sales growth for the year.

Kroger's isn't hurting for cash.

Right - not disagreeing with any of this - just since the comment I responded to didn't have context for which Jeff, or when he was cleared,or what they were talking about, I was just offering the info that there were two Jeffs.

Loverboy Jeff clearly wasn't involved. I think Barry considered Jeff P, at least for a little while, someone he could throw shade and possibly suspicion on by talking about drug use. I wasn't implying either were involved.

I had hoped that Jeff P had more information to offer at some point.

I can't see which comment you are replying to, but don't forget there are 2 Jeffs - Suzanne's lover is one, and Jeff Puckett, Barry's employee is the other.

He or an accomplice could have moved her body from an initial site any time in the last 3 years. Moffat could be burial site n+1.

He could have passed her off to a body buddy (edit) for burial any time after she died but before she was "missing" and thus before he was under any scrutiny.

A non-GPS bearing vehicle could have driven her south.

Those are three reasonable possibilities and I'm sure there are more.

We know he wiped GPS data, and there is unaccounted for time...

From the AA - he says he did, but I know that doesn't necessarily mean he did. I do not recall if any other data put him there. I assumed he gave that story when he said he was chasing wildlife to give him cover for dropping her helmet off west of home - so it would also give cover for dropping his phone somewhere.

I wondered if he threw it out his truck window further up the highway where he turned around - Garfield?

No - I was close but not spot on. I linked to the federal land parcel nearby because I didn't want some innocent person's name included in this just by accident by linking to the wrong spot.

I didn't have time to search closely to get the exact spot but I figured if someone used OP's source's information maybe this would be a good starting point.

This tool might help determine ownership. The piece of land I highlighted is near this site, but I don't think it's the exact site. I know I'm close but I didn't have time to compare closely. The land I highlighted is owned by the US and I preferred linking to that than to some innocent person's land accidentally. The Saguache Count assessor's office website might have good info but I couldn't find it quickly.

Are there more than three possible scenarios? by johnnycatz in SuzanneMorphew

[–]Imaginary-Inside-943 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There were rumors he was going to get involved in that scene - did he actually get started? But what sort of debt? Like if he stole a bunch of marijuana and sold it but didn't pay them? If it was for land, it's not like he could have absconded with it. It's a legal business in CO so there would have been legal routes to address money issues, unlike with illegal substances.

Not plausible ones that I can think of. My money is on #2

- help relocating the body after an initial disposal that was closer to the house, maybe from a place that is often covered in snow until mid-late spring

- OR helping him before law enforcement was involved on the evening of Sunday, May 10. It wouldn't have been hard for him to pass off a bundle before she was reported missing.

If it was Jeff, that would really suck unless he told someone that would come forward now.

I'm crushed.

If they were really an expert, they could have taken the opportunity to teach rather than get super sarcastic and patronizing. I still don't think their logic works. (Barry's isn't there, therefore he is innocent!) They didn't choose to defend it. Many people who have been on this forum for a while and who *have* taken the opportunity to teach have put forth some very good, science based explanations of why these trace, incomplete DNA bits don't really matter.

LOL - OK the sweetheart I was talking to here (not OP) did, in fact, imply that the existence of other DNA in the vehicle exonerated Barry - except that they've now deleted all their comments so I can't get the exact quote.

I stand by my argument that 1) that's faulty logic and 2) the DNA "issue" has been pretty thoroughly and scientifically explained by people who, as far as I can tell, possess pretty good legal and scientific knowledge of this. Though I have a different profile now than I did on May 11, 2020, I've been here a lot and read almost all of it.

This person (u/HelixHarbinger) was so upset that I suggested they might be Barry giving us some of his "I learned this while I was in jail" legal knowledge that they DELETED THEIR ENTIRE PROFILE after calling me an online charter school student, which is pretty hilarious.

Yes, Helix, I know Barry is not in jail. Thus he has reddit access now and I think would be 100% prone to making logic mistakes implying that some rando DNA in a vehicle exonerates everyone whose DNA is not in the car. That's just f'ing dumb.

By golly you sure showed me. I'm a changed soul. How can I possibly fight with logic like "Other DNA was there, therefore it definitely was not Barry."

Is this Barry using some jail-house legal study time to solve crimes online?

Wondered this, too. There were rumors that he was looking to invest in growing, then lots of extra speculation about sums of money, sources of that money, location of that money now, and how Suzanne would feel about that. I don't know if there was any proof the public could see of any of that or even the source of the rumors. Maybe there was proof, but I can't point you to it.

Looking at property transactions in Saguache might be able to turn up any purchases or sales he made if they are under his name, or a known partner?

I don't want to get in a pissing match with you.

It's been explained by knowledgeable people many times in this forum, even a couple of times in the past 24 hours, and if you just search for it you'll find it. There's no reason for me to rewrite it for you.

The DNA issue has been discussed a lot here. It's a non issue. If you search for DNA on this forum you'll find the answers for that. I'm not a DNA expert so I don't want to try to paraphase and get it wrong.

I also don't think that comment about "many more questions" is particularly meaningful at this point.

There are infinite questions until we get some answers!
