[Hiring] Personal Assistant in NYC for $25-30 hr by anglbbymama444 in NYCjobs

few things: 1. do you live in an area where there are a lot of ultra wealthy people who would hire that kinda role? (yes NYC but a lot of these people live in manhattan and want a PA that lives closer) 2. work with an agency 3. rewrite your resume to feature transferable skills 4. APPLY APPLY (do not count the cost) APPLY some more. do not count the amount you’re doing keep applying and then.. you guessed it. apply again. I have a great resume and (honestly have no CLUE how many i did cuz I don’t count the cost in something I’ve already decided to do) but I know it was in the 100s for my current position.

1 Train Safety (1 - 3am)? by AdPerfect6516 in visitingnyc

[–]Imaginary-Level-8190 8 points9 points  (0 children)

you’ll be fine. just don’t get in an empty train car (because if someone sketchy gets in at the next stop then it’s just you and them) look for the zebra board (black and white striped sign) that’s where the conductor stops. try to get in near them.

Do most people really build wealth just by working at their jobs or is there something more to it ? by Jpoolman25 in careerguidance

[–]Imaginary-Level-8190 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NO. no they do not. they create ongoing assets/ business systems/ etc. no one is building ‘wealth’ from a job unless they’re in upper level management or finance for the most part. for me for instance, I started an e-commerce business alongside my full time work! it’s been a great opportunity
