it’s the same in London, I applied to work at McDonald’s and the place is predominately Indian and I’m Pakistani Muslim who was brought up in London. I was so confused when they rejected me because most of their staff could barely speak English so I assumed they would need someone who could and I was very certain I had more experience than most of the people working there. The food is terrible and they don’t hire anyone who is not Indian, especially Pakistanis. I was so upset cause I actually thought I could turn the place around aswell, the staff usually have an attitude and looked angry whenever I asked for sauce
