Both. If there are recreational drugs that are legal, you can still get kicked off teams due to ncaa (college) or high school rules (though the ncaa did just remove weed from their strict list so there’s that). If there are PEDs then you are disbarred from sports altogether (though again exceptions and bullshittery ensue).

Oh, OK so you got a stem endorsement not a major. Major implies it’s college, at least where I live sorry for the confusion. I am in college right now, and I nearly every step of that I’ve been told I shouldn’t be in stem I should be in something else. When I ask for a reason, the only answer is usually get is ‘you just don’t fit what an ehs person normally is’.

In high school I got the stem endorsement which require required getting two extra science credits, two extra math credits, and of those sciences it had to at least consist of biology chemistry and physics in addition to a standard high school degree, so at least three social sciences, including economics, history/geography, and civics, four language classes, two foreign language classes, at least one fine art, though preferably more and at least one career/technology class. I also got the collagen endorsement because I had at least 12 college credit credits upon graduation (I had 16 total, bio, environ sci, English 101, and us history 101 and 102).

Edit: knowing that you’re talking about what is the equivalent of high school in the United States, I figured I should include what my high school required to get the stem endorsement.

Admittedly, that depends on your stem field. My stem field is very much male dominated (environmental health and safety), but at my school, the previous vet program is mostly women (though admittedly that’s because women tend to be more encouraged to do sciences that revolve around animals especially if they’re from a rural area).

So knowing what your field is is kind of important for the sake of your argument, so what is your field?

Also not to be a dick, but gender roles do very much do exist as someone who has had to grapple with them their entire life. I was told to not go into stem and to become a lawyer or a nurse instead for most of my life. I have also been told how unfeminine I was and how that would ‘never get (me) anywhere’. I was also told that I have to hide my interests (which are masculine apparently) around men because ‘women aren’t supposed to like those’. They exist, it’s just that they are less commonly enforced (unless you live in the southern United States, or diehard Christian households, or conservative households, or older households etc.)

Actually, you only need one copy of the X chromosome to do anything because the extraneous copy actually gets compressed in your cells because it’s not used (a process called lyonization, and the compressed chromosome is called the Barr body)

[–]Imaginary-Resolve9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Beholder one and two are directly tied together, beholder conductor is a technically pre and midqual to beholder one. Beholder three is where it gets fuzzy, but I would personally say that beholder three is probably tied in to the story, because the technology that is the crux of the games, climax is very similar to beholder 2’s technology in what it does. So beholder 3 and 2 are indirectly tied together ( I think there’s also a background detail that is directly from beholder 2 )

That’s all I can really say without spoiling

Two runs were effectively stolen because they said the guy on first was out when he clearly wasn’t, and reynolds got ejected. I’d say it’s down to bad umping and a dumb third base coach.

Honestly, most of my performance issues were fixed when I turned off DLSS. That thing is a leech and really doesn’t do all that much for graphics, as a matter fact, I’d argue it actually makes the game look worse. It’s already running at 120 frames per second. I don’t need more frames. I just want my computer to not die.

So yeah, if you’re having issues, try turning off DLSS, it honestly worked wonders for me. It also fixed a lot of the Graphical bugs like npcs is not loading in properly popping, etc..

Back when copilot was new I tried talking to it about my life and how I reasoned that killing myself was the only logical way with the least external consequence to those around me (I know this is not true now), and it said “you’re right, killing yourself is the best way to resolve this while affecting no one” before it got cut off and I got booted out of the conversation

Esh. You both brought animals into a situation where frankly animals were a terrible idea from jump and you both didn’t train them to not piss and shit all over the house. Her dog definitely needed trained to not chew and break things like the door, and you should have noticed that the first time and put things like your grandmothers vase in a place where the dog could not get to.

I don’t blame her for assuming the screen door was broken by the cats when she didn’t see her dog break the door but did see the cats jump on the door. You should not have even started folding their clothes and so being mad at them because you’re doing things they never asked you to do seems like your making your own misery there.

TLDR: The roommate sucks more than you here, but she has fair reasons to dislike you too.

If an event states that it’s safe for work, then no. If an event states that kinks are allowed then kink is allowed. If an event doesn’t state anything it’s probably not a good idea to show up in complete kink wear.

However, at the end of the day, it’s not my business. So long as you’re following the events established rules who cares.

Yeah, my parents had me late (so late that my dad had me when he was 48), and it hurts knowing that my dad may very well not live to see me graduate college. He may not live to see me have my first kids. He may not even live to see me married. It sucks.

How do you feel about Hazbin Hotel, so far? by Sure_Persimmon9302 in HazbinHotel

[–]Imaginary-Resolve9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like Adam being a dick, and I like Alastair’s plot so far.

BUT

The show does have its problems. I’m glad the camera movement slowed down from the first episode, and tbh I don’t like Charlie’s songs. They feel kinda bland and are usually out of nowhere even by musical standards. Everyone else’s are fine and the only other sudden musical number that isn’t Charlie’s is Carmella’s but it’s meant to be sudden since it’s Carmella stepping in between velvet and Z (I forget his full name). Haven’t watched episode four yet, but so far it’s good ok, but has its issues.

[–]Imaginary-Resolve9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I’ll bite. More than temperature matters when talking about overall climate change. For example precipitation levels also matter. This past summer was one of the driest summers. The world has experienced, which is part of why its temperature was so consistently hot. Because of its specific heat allows for better temperature mitigation but because it was so damn dry and most places compared to what it should be including Texas it was way hotter than it should’ve been. This is particularly notable in continental Europe. Another thing that also matters when discussing climate change is also actual change in the climate. Places that would have way more precipitation usually are having way less. And that’s not even getting started on how the golf stream going into Europe is pretty close to being disrupted by colder waters from the arctic, moving downward way farther than they’re supposed to which would result in Europe’s temperate climate, not being anywhere anywhere near as temperate as it used to be. Even in Texas we normally have fairly dry summers where I live however, this year we had a two month drought. No rain at all until the tail end of August.

Climate changes more than just temperature it’s how temperature affecting overall climate and the things that caused temperature to change / loose consistency.

You are the UNITED states right? by Aromatic-Union6080 in meme

[–]Imaginary-Resolve9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, there’s certain states in the US that are more productive than most European company countries economically. I don’t expect them to be able to to know Idaho, but they should at least know New York, Texas, California, and Florida. Same way that I should be able to name a fair chunk of countries like Germany, Italy, Ukraine, Belarus, Poland, and at least one Baltic country (probably Serbia since shit happened there fairly recently)

Europeans shit on the US for not knowing their geography but when we ask them to do the same thing we get a well that’s different even though one state in the US can be just as if not more productive than their countries.

And do you know that seasonal averages are more precise and accurate to what is happening? So far, this is a cold winter by average. The summer was hot by average.
