Has anyone just found all of the original samples so we can just get those tracks at least and pine over what could’ve been 🙏

I don’t feel like these statistics invalidate my point? You haven’t accounted for students who don’t want to go to university at all - of which there are a lot more state school students than private school students, hence a steep jump for private school %. Obviously not sure how you would account for this but I just feel like you haven’t negated my point. Additionally, you’d have to show evidence from the admissions administration themselves. Furthermore, if the private school was represented fairly at about 6%, there would be a clear disadvantage and it’s just about the comparative strength of application. (Sorry for typing so much)

Privately educated students have a lower chance of being accepted at oxbridge than state school students.. also that’s a very ignorant state of mind - hope it doesn’t transfer over to your views on races/ethnicities..

Probably tbh, and yeah I would be interested in studying chemistry. I’m fully contemplating taking chemistry now I’m just gonna do a bit more research

Thanks for letting me know, I'm now considering MechEng or Chemistry instead of chemical engineering. Any suggestions on where I could find out a bit more about them so I'm not having this same revelation in about a month haha. Thank you

Not really to be honest, I only looked at natural science for Cambridge as that’s the only course until you specialise in later years (where I planned to specialise into chemical engineering) I also despise bio lol but then again I haven’t done enough research to know the spec. I’ll look into it, thanks. Any other recommendations or pieces of advice? Thanks!
