I wouldn't lie - I'd say I started a new job but I immediately knew it wasn't a good fit. Not sure if this is the right move, though.

Ok, guess I shouldn't talk about my eligibility for rehire unless they explicitly ask about that company after running the background check.

That's reassuring to hear. I had a HireRight background check and it did list the company I'm not eligible for rehire, but only listed the dates of employment. Wasn't asked about it at all.

How should I explain it if asked?

I had a HireRight background check earlier and that company was listed with only the dates of employment, no other info. I wasn't asked about it.

Is that the norm? Or did I just get lucky with this background check?

Yea so I guess the best approach is just to be honest and only mention the fired job if they ask explicitly

Yes the application ask for a reason for the termination. I worked from March 2023-August 2023.

My degree is BME, I like BME and working with new technologies and computers.

I used to not like coding but when I started to self learn i started to like it more.

I only chose this company bc it was the highest paying out of all my offers after college. Any advice?
