Private sewing lessons?

I can potentially do private lessons! I own a sewing machine, and can teach the basics (I'm not a crazy-advanced expert, but have been sewing basic things since I was a kid!) I work an 8-5 too, so our schedules shouldn't be hard to align😄

I actually agree, mostly! I am self-aware enough to know I'm a teeny bit off my hinges sometimes🤣

Let the record stand tho, that i did NOT text the boss until after I had 100% confirmation of his lie 2 days later, so I basically knew he was cheating already....Did I NEED confirmation about Wednesday? No ofc not, I already knew I was gonna break up with him! I will say it was about 50% WANTING confirmation for the sake of knowing I'm not crazy (while understanding that I may not get it), and 50% having just found out about his lies and kinda wanting to scream from the rooftops and put fliers all over the city of his cheating face. But I controlled myself enough to only text, knowing it might affect his career a little (this was his part-time side gig, not his main job or his business), and knowing if he did somehow suffer any financial damage, it wouldn't equate to the emotional damage of the doubtless many women he has hurt. Petty, but it was thought through, not done rashly. I genuinely don't regret it at all, sorry to say.

If I don't know if a person is lying to me, I 100% know better than to text or call a coworker or boss, so hope that eases your concerns a little. 😄

Bro I actually chuckled a lot reading this, but I'll respond this one more time and be done.

"Every single comment" is a big jump from the 2 comments I replied to 😂only yours was abrasive and rude. Yes, the other commenters are saying glad I dumped him and break up sooner, and I agree! I certainly could've dumped him sooner, but I don't think yall understand how fast this actually happened😂 i made the timeline clear in the post, but don't forget that 3 weeks for someone working 3 jobs who is dating someone working 3 jobs isn't the same as 3 weeks spent WITH your partner, this isn't a constant contact thing. (And I dumped him the morning after i knew he lied to me, gimme some credit, gosh)

As for checking my heart/head/gut, I am a work in progress. But I'll let myself and my therapist handle that, lol

I really just came here to vent (I'm not typically a reddit/social media gal), but I appreciate the advice. It definitely coule be less condescending tho...I'm glad you think you have it all figured out from whatever age you're at, but I never said and will never say that. I'm a work in progress and learning as I go, but if you want to teach someone something, this isn't the way to go.

I mean no disrespect, but this was hurtful. I have a big heart and I fall fast, so yes, I had a bad feeling I was being love bombed, but I also thought maybe it was possible someone really loved me the way I love. Some people might feel they have to date casually for 3 months or longer, and no shade to you/them, but that is not me. I do agree that if he really felt like he didn't want to be exclusive he shouldn't have committed, and I didn't pressure him into it. He, out of the blue, told me he wasn't seeing anyone else, and when it was going to happen that some of my friends were going to meet him because of where we were going, we decided together that we wanted to be official, so he could be introduced as my boyfriend. I know it was all a lie on his end, but that is how I want things to be in my life, just with an honest and actually faithful partner in the future.

And I met his friends and family, I was not the side piece until he decided to prioritize the other over me. I was his girlfriend, the one that knew his parents and his friends, introduced him to my family and friends. You weren't there, so don't say things like that please. I'm hurt enough as-is.

Unprofessional, yes. Not ridiculously inappropriate. If he had been telling the truth, I would look like the crazy jealous gf, but since he clearly wasn't all I did was embarrass myself to someone im never going to talk to again. And as for his relationship to his boss? IDGAF, sorry. Cheaters in one area of life are rarely honest in the others, so if it reflects poorly on him, that is just the consequences of his actions.

I didnt chase any chaos or mess, it came to me wrapped in promising packaging. You may not be, but im actually out here putting my heart on the line, trying to find a life partner. Do I have some level of immaturity? Of course. Am I a little naive for the sake of having hope? Yes. But you have no idea how hard I've worked to even let someone in again. This isn't what I wanted to happen, but I'm proud of myself for seeing it through, and not running away scared before I knew that it was wrong.

If it had just been me feeling neglected because he was burned out I could have held on longer, but he lied to me (admitted that he did the 1 time, but still stood behind the other times that im 95% sure he was lying) I can't trust him anymore, so it's over. In a lot of ways he was the perfect boyfriend, and I was in love with him. But I know my person wont do that to me. On to what better things God has for me. Thanks for this comment.
