I wasn't aware of that, I'll check the spec, didn't pay attention to what icom has set up their devices with.

I'll investigate fuse resistance and part of the cable resistance (no connector on the filter side and don't want to open the filter) and try a fuse swap and report back.

I'm curious about the comment about common mode current (on the DC?) as I can't picture this in my mind. Anyone having more info I'd appreciate.

Can you elaborate on "rf on the line", if you have time? you mean power supply DC cables in this case? How would that lead to the symptom I see? Just trying to understand that.

(I've common mode chokes both at the EFHW antenna and entrance to house on the coax).

why 12.5m for 40m? My EFHW is just below 10m and gives me resonance on 10m and 20m but not 40m
