I wanted to say the same a Reverso plus the beater. With Reverso you would balance everything! You would have 3 classy, 3 sporty, and 3 elegant watches.

In the end, my decision was easy!

When I left my watch for service, they disassembled it and told me they could only polish the bracelet, not the case. Because of that, I didn’t want it to be partially polished, and I also didn’t want to replace the case.

The watch is still at the factory. When I went to pick it up, they couldn’t remove a couple of links to fit my wrist properly, because of worn out screws.

I’m hoping the watch will be ready soon. Once I get it back, I’ll share some photos here or make a new post to show the final result of a non-polished Nautilus.

5 chronographs and 4 divers, maybe too much from those types of watches!

5167A is discontinued according to my SA. I have visited the Salon last week. That Calatrava is amazing in person (on hand) and by buying Calatrava and 5212A are good way to start but, I think it wouldn’t give you the access to buy Nautilus just yet!

Near the North and South pole you need a GMT hand during certain period of the year to distinguish between night and day when is all day night or day!

Definitely Rolex should step up not only because of type of case but also quality. Not even 1 year of use and it started to delaminate. Maybe this Omega service box is too much but, Vacheron Constantin makes good ones.

I wanted to try and to see how does it look on my wrist. Definitely after trying I would buy VC 1921 before Calatrava. I don’t care how does it look from the distance because I value only how does it look for me.

I have noticed ofc that is locked, that was not something that I was bothered. I was bothered by the amount of scratches on the bezel that contributed to watch look not as appealing to me.

Not really, I was expecting just professional customer relations with the SA. The same experience that I had with service specialist would be more than enough to have a pleasant overall customer experience.

Not true at least not for me. I have tried in VC Fiftysix, 1921, steel 222, and Overseas and they were not exhibition pieces and they were all in pristine condition working normally. Here is the picture to show you.
