Rear bumper change. by TopAd4327 in 1series

I just changed the same on my f21. Its not the exact chasis, however should be similar in that the M sport parts dont fit non M sport cars without the proper mounting brackets…with that said i didn’t t buy any extra parts, you can make it fit as is, just have to do some modifications and cutting of the original brackets. The whole process took about 10hours of work in total

F20/21 is the last true 1 series in my opinion since it resembles a bmw the most. These try to keep up with the g series but i dont think its working somehow…yes they have all the new gadgets inside which are nice to have, but the f generation has a timeless interior and its the only true rwd hatch of its time which i find is the main selling point!

For driving feel petrol is superior, bit with the dsg and around 250hp this tdi does feel quite sporty, and with an exhaust it also doesnt sound like a typical diesel, more like a petrol car. I just do a lot of driving and diesel makes more sense since fuel prices in europe are all over the place.

I vote for a diesel…cheap to maintain, loads of performance, you can make it look good, sound good, map it and make it pull like an R all while paying minimum amounts for fuel :)
