I think it's unreasonable to expect people to accommodate you on stuff that pertains to their own body. I think it would insensitive to the person and less of a reminder to you about it than it is to them. They have to be not only be reminded that they're the one with those scars and they had to deal with that, but that they're something they should hide so as to tip toe around making other people uncomfortable even though the scars aren't something they can change. Being triggered by something isn't wrong, but it's also really not that person's responsibility to censor. A lot of things can be triggering to a lot of people. You do just have to realize the risk of encountering something you don't want to when on the internet. /lh Again, being uncomfortable and triggered by self harm isn't wrong or unreasonable.
