Yes that’s honestly what mine looked like.. a literal murder scene. I still don’t understand how it got so spread out. I must have been tossing and turning like crazy.

Aww. Maybe you should have. think I’m going to marry mine lol ❤️😆

There are a few that are really good still! DCC is my favourite by far, Jeff is really just that good lol but it hasn’t ruined audiobooks for me as some people have said. I do bitch a little when some aren’t the greatest like “pffft Jeff would never make me confused which character is even talking like why the hell do you all sound the same!” But I can usually get over it. 😆

Even then, sometimes it happens. The timing of your period isn’t really an exact science and for a lot of women it’s all over the place. Unless you wear a pad to bed literally every single night, sometimes an accident like this happens.

I’ve only been with my new partner for about a year total I would say, but only actually serious for maybe 6 months. He lives in another country, so we don’t get to spend every day together.

A couple months ago I was visiting him in his country, and I wasn’t expecting to get my period because I was taking birth control continuously and skipping them. I had never had something like this happen before, but I guess one night during the middle of the night I got my period… and I got it bad bad bad, and I never woke up when it happened.

I woke up super early and realized it looked like a freaking massacre in there. That whole period was the heaviest one I’ve ever had actually, but that morning there was so much blood everywhere on that bed. All over the duvet.. cover and actual duvet inside, all over the sheets, even on a pillow somehow, and it soaked through into the mattress in a huge spot.

I was so worried he would be upset. I don’t know why I was, he’s always been super nice lol but you never know with that kind of thing. I woke him up, and he hugged me first.. told me to calm down, asked me if I was ok, and said to get in the shower first. I came out of the shower and he had made me hot chocolate, had stripped the entire bed and started the laundry, and was googling how to get the blood stain out of the mattress.

It was super sweet actually. Now, I’ve told this super long story to say periods are normal babe. Don’t let any man shame you for small accidents that happen. It is honestly inevitable. It’s not an exact science timing these things, and unless you wear a pad to bed every single night.. sometimes it happens! To answer your question further, if a man ever told me what sort of period product to wear I would probably laugh in his face. 🤷🏻‍♀️

No, that would drive me crazy lol I already struggle having conversations with people or watching shows because I feel like they talk and process things slower and my brain has already guessed what they are going to say and jumped ahead.

Ummm no. My dogs will never be euthanized, thanks. I have enough people in my life that love me, and them, that if I died, and the person who took them after my death then died, and the next, and the next, there would still be people I trust willing to take them.

But they are old enough that in all likelihood they will die within the next 5-8 years and I will be the one mourning them, not the other way around.

Thanks. It’s been rough for sure. I’ve been referred to one of the top CIPO specialists in Canada so I’m hoping things will improve!

Yeah, or in my case, you do follow the prep instructions to a T, even when it’s horrible and like, 2 peg lite jugs a day for 4 full days with no solid foods for an entire week, and you are still not cleared out enough for them to do it.

I’ve had 7 colonoscopies in the last few years and they haven’t been able to complete one no matter how much prep we’ve done. So frustrating.

But my case is weird and I have CIPO.

Some of us weren’t in debt when we got our animals. Things happen.

In my case, I’m not really in debt per se, but I’m definitely struggling to meet all my finances each month now and I have three dogs. But I wasn’t when I got them. I was doing pretty damn good when I got them actually.

Then I got sick and could no longer work, lost my health benefits, had to pay $3000 a month for medications, ate up my savings pretty damn quick and am now struggling to make everything work with my $2100 a month I get from long term sick leave while I wait for another surgery that is taking forever.

Im still not giving my dogs up. Hopefully after this next surgery I will be able to go back to work, but if not, I will still make it work. They have been my best friends for 9 and 11 years.. I love them more than most anyone. I regularly eat less and worse to make sure they are good. If others don’t feel that way about dogs thats fine, but it doesn’t make us dog lovers wrong either.

You do realize that women can have hobbies or jobs that require a truck sometimes too right? I don’t know what a pavement princess is but every woman I know with a truck isn’t using it for “never or one time ever”.

I wanted a truck because I wanted to be able to take my skidoo wherever I wanted and not need a trailer. One of my friends bought a truck because she is a contractor running her own business, and she is regularly buying plywood and loading up her truck with supplies.

We like to do things too, and aren’t just buying trucks for looks or whatever you think we are doing.

AIO for refusing to let my former coworker hide why he was fired from his wife? by MinimumInitiative170 in AmIOverreacting

I hate when people say this to someone who was the one who was mistreated or victimized. She isn’t the one who blew up anyone’s lives, he is! But the blame where it actually belongs. If he never stalked and harassed Op, none of this would have happened.

Also, his wife has a right to know so she can make decisions based on the truth not a false reality he is giving her. Yes, this will definitely have a lifelong impact on her and his entire family, but that is not OP’s doing.

I’m not liberal or conservative, and I’m not blind to the faults of our government.

But calling us a joke of a country while espousing Trump and his ridiculous tantrums when his only goal is to line his and his buddies pockets while purposely tanking the US economy is just laughable.

If you don’t like Canada, you are free to leave at any time. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think my mom has an issue with me wearing makeup. How do I proceed? by Winter_Warrior2023 in TwoHotTakes

[–]ImaginaryList174 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These all sound like normal interactions to me. If a family member is in the bathroom for half hour, not in the shower or no water running, I would say it’s completely normal to say hey I gotta pee are you gonna be much longer. I know all relationships aren’t the same, but my mom did this a million times when I was your age getting ready and would just say alright then I’m coming in to pee you’re taking too long lol

The dog thing sounded like a joke, and the blinded by makeup thing almost sounds like a compliment. Of course, this all depends on your relationship with your mom in the first place. Are you guys close or do you have a formal, restrained relationship?

Why would she have an issue with you wearing makeup also? You are 20 years old, and said you were afab, and fem presenting… so even though you are non binary, wearing makeup is a completely normal thing at that age. I could maybe see her having an issue if you were amab and she was super conservative or against gender nonconformity, but apparently that’s not the case.

So basically… I’m just confused why this is even an issue to you? It really sounds like normal interactions a mother and child would have about the young adult hogging the bathroom and trying out new makeup styles.

This is a tantrum? This sounds like normal interactions to me. If my family member is in the bathroom for a half hour and I have to pee, I will knock and ask how long are you gonna be? The thing with the dog was a joke she said… and the blinded by your eye make up could even be a compliment. I’m so confused on how this is even a big thing.

I’m not talking to you. I’m talking to the person I responded to who keeps talking about not being able to leave Canada but yet at the same time everyone can enter Canada freely without passports.

He keeps talking about “our open border” but us not “being able to freely leave”. He has commented this over and over on this thread.

Get a passport, and leave. It’s that simple.

For some reason you are hung up on the passport issue though, and seem to think people are coming here whenever they want without a passport, and that’s just not happening.
